You work for an international company. You have seen an advertisement for a training course which will be useful for your job.

Write a letter to your manager. In your letter

• describe the training course you want to do
• explain what the company could do to help you
• say how the course will be useful for your job

You do NOT need to write any addresses.

Begin your letter as follows:

Dear Sir or Madam,

Dear Manager,

I hope this letter finds you in a high spirit. I am writing this letter to express about a short term training course which I read in a newspaper. This course is known as a Certificate of qualification in welding, which greatly offers me practical skills to use while welding metal and auto parts.

I would appreciate that if you allow me paid vacation for two weeks which can help me to attend the classes. Although I can take online course after the working hours, however this training program requires practical learning. For that reason, I have to go for a different timing to pursue this program. Unfortunately, I have to take off from work for a short period.

This training benefits me in many ways. It will not just offer certificate but also increase my knowledge practically to complete task. while performing productive work in the company I will utilize that skills wisely.
