You work for an international company. You have seen an advertisement for a training course which will be useful for your job.

Write a letter to your manager. In your letter

• describe the training course you want to do
• explain what the company could do to help you
• say how the course will be useful for your job

Dear Sir,

I am writing this letter to bring your attention to a new training course that I came across recently through an advertisement. The course focuses on advanced communication skills, which I believe highly beneficial to my day-to-day responsibilities.

To enroll in this course, I require some assistance from your company. Firstly, I would like to ask if you could give me an extra day off to attend the classes. Secondly, it would be great if your company could pay for the registration fee. This would enable me to give more attention to learning such a valuable skill.

This course will not only benefit me in future projects but is also beneficial for our company to generate more connections with other companies. Moreover, this course will assist me to build greater confidence to elaborate effectively on complex projects during an international meeting.

I would really appreciate it if you could consider my request and help me to enroll in this course.
