IELTS Writing Task 1 question

You work for an international company. You have seen an advertisement for a training course which will be useful for your job.

Write a letter to your manager. In your letter

• describe the training course you want to do
• explain what the company could do to help you
• say how the course will be useful for your job

You do NOT need to write any addresses.

Begin your letter as follows:

Dear Sir,

I hope you are doing well. I am writing this letter to you regarding an advertisement which i saw about a training session of CPR which is expected to be hosted in our city on Monday, 24th September.

CPR is a cruical procedure which helps to save lives in the critical situations. I want to pursue it in order to be able to provide required help at the time of emergency.

In order to take this course i need to go in person which means i will require a day off on Monday. Apart from it, the responsible authorities are requesting for a job letter from my company so if you can provide me that as soon as possible then i will be a great help for me.

As there is nobody else in our office who is trained for CPR, I strongly think that if i get this certification it will be a huge asset for our organization. Please let me know what is your opinion on it?
