You work for an international company. You have seen an advertisement for a training course which will be useful for your job.

Write a letter to your manager. In your letter

• describe the training course you want to do
• explain what the company could do to help you
• say how the course will be useful for your job

Dear Sir or Madam,

I am writing to seek your permission to enroll in part-time training course, which I saw recently on Udemy and I believe it would be beneficial for my current job profile.

I would like to enroll in PLC Programming course. This course is mainly focus on how we can do the programming in efficient way. In addition, they also cover brief introduction of industrial automation.

The course timing is 12 pm to 4 pm on weekdays, so I would appreciate if you can allow me to attend the online sessions from the company. Additionally, I would be greatful if you can reimburse the course fees because I believe it would also be beneficial to the company in several ways.

Firstly, I can download the recorded sessions and if other employees want to leran PLC programming they do not have to spend extra money on the same course. Furthermore, after completing the course, I could use my expertise to make our machines programm more efficient and reduce operational cost.
