Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.5
You address the three requested points: you identify a Tally accounting course, ask the company to cover travel-related expenses, and explain that the training could help with tax work and auditing. However, the course description is brief, and the request for support is not fully clear: “all the expenses” is followed by examples, but you do not specify whether you are also asking for time off or course fees. The job benefits are relevant, though “I will promotion” focuses on personal advancement rather than explaining a concrete improvement to your work. Develop these points with clearer details about the course and how its skills would be applied in your role, while keeping the request direct and professional.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 6.0
The letter has a recognisable structure, with separate paragraphs for the course, the requested assistance, its benefits, and a closing. This makes the main points reasonably easy to locate. You also use linking expressions such as “Secondly,” “Hence,” and “As I mentioned.” At times, however, these links feel mechanical or do not show the relationship precisely; “Hence” does not clearly connect the course location to the request for expenses. The reference “it” in “it is help me” is also unclear in context. Improve progression by grouping the course details and benefits logically, and use more precise transitions and references so each paragraph follows naturally from the previous one.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.0
Your vocabulary is sufficient to communicate the main purpose, with relevant terms such as “accounting,” “audit,” “tax,” and “accommodation.” However, the range is limited and several word choices or collocations are inaccurate, which sometimes makes the message less clear. For example, “draw your immediate attention on my proposal” is not a natural way to introduce a request, and “accounting standard course” does not clearly describe the training. Phrases such as “cut tax from institution” and “higher payments” are also imprecise. Spelling errors, including “immidiate,” “accomodation,” and “understnad,” further affect accuracy. Build a more precise set of workplace and training expressions, and check spelling before submitting.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
You attempt both simple and more extended sentences, including a reason clause beginning “because” and a conditional request beginning “If possible.” However, the range is limited, and errors occur frequently enough to make some sentences difficult to interpret. Examples include “I write this letter” instead of a suitable present-perfect form, “it help me,” “how fill tax files,” and “I will promotion.” There are also problems with articles and agreement in “a accounting standard course,” and the question “can company provide” lacks an article and appropriate word order for an indirect request. Practise accurate verb forms, subject–verb agreement, articles, and complete clause structures. Shorter, carefully checked sentences would make your meaning clearer.
