Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 6.5
You address all three points: you describe a weekend course covering CRM and marketing, request help with enrolment and fees, and explain how the learning could support customer attraction and your department. The purpose is clear, and the benefits are relevant. However, some points are less fully developed than others. The request for “partial fee” support is not specific about what assistance you need, and the course description could include its duration or provider. The job benefits are also presented as a list rather than explained through a concrete example of how you would apply a skill. Adding these details and a more complete formal closing would make the letter more fully developed.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 6.5
The letter has a coherent overall arrangement: the opening introduces the course, the second paragraph makes a request, and the final paragraph explains its value. Linking expressions such as “Moreover,” “In addition,” and “So” help show relationships between ideas. However, some connections feel mechanical, and the final paragraph moves quickly from attracting customers to educating colleagues and assuring your manager about performance. The sentence beginning “This development” also has an unclear reference, as it is not immediately obvious whether it means the course or your improved skills. Use clearer transitions and group related benefits together. A conventional closing would also help complete the letter format.
Lexical Resource: Band 6.0
You use an adequate range of vocabulary for the topic, including “CRM,” “marketing department,” “social presence,” and “client retainment.” These choices communicate the main ideas, and you attempt some workplace-specific language. However, several expressions are inaccurate or unnatural, such as “financial assistence,” “gaureented,” and “client retainment”; spelling and collocation errors reduce precision. “Managing office tools” and “advanced features” are also vague, so naming the relevant software or skills would be clearer. Aim for accurate, natural combinations such as “financial assistance,” “guarantee,” and “client retention,” and check spelling carefully before submitting.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.5
You use a mix of simple sentences and more developed structures, including “This course covers several things like CRM…” and the sentence explaining how the course could benefit the marketing department. The main message remains understandable, but some grammatical errors recur. For example, “an advertisement for training course” needs an article before “training course,” and “I would appreciate if company will pay” needs a more accurate conditional structure. There are also punctuation and spacing problems, such as the missing space after “skills.” and spaces before commas or full stops. Practise articles, conditional requests, and sentence punctuation, then proofread to improve consistency.
