Dear Manager,

I am writing this letter to share something important regarding a trainning course which I saw in advertisement on my computer.

This course is related to improve communication skills and problem- solving skills. I want to enroll in this programme because it is not only useful for me but also brings the benefits for the company.

I would really appriciate it if you could either provide this course in their own company as free of cost or you can pay my fee for it. So, I could get this training without any financial pressure.

By getting this seminars, I can enhance my communication skills and problem-solving skills which would help me at workplace during work. With the help of this course, I can solve any issue within seconds without others help which helps to boost my productvity. Company can earn more profit through productvity. Therefore, I want to pursue this training.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 6.0

You address all three requested points: you identify a course in communication and problem-solving, ask the company to provide it or pay the fee, and explain how the skills could support your work. The purpose is clear, and the link to workplace productivity is relevant. However, some parts are less fully developed than others. The course description is brief, with no details such as its duration, format, or provider, and the request for support could be more specific about which option you prefer. The claim that you could solve issues “within seconds” is also too broad to be convincing. Add a little practical detail and explain more precisely how the training would improve your day-to-day responsibilities.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 6.5

The letter has a coherent overall arrangement: it introduces the course, makes a request, and then explains its workplace value. Paragraph breaks help distinguish these functions, and linking expressions such as “because,” “With the help of this course,” and “Therefore” make the progression easy to follow. This meets the lower-band expectation for clear organisation and shows some movement towards more flexible cohesion. However, connections are occasionally mechanical or unclear. For example, “By getting this seminars” does not clearly refer back to the course, and the final paragraph repeats communication and problem-solving skills rather than developing the benefits further. Use clearer referencing and vary the links between ideas; also ensure punctuation separates sentences, as in “productivity. Therefore”.

Lexical Resource: Band 5.5

You use relevant vocabulary for the topic, including “communication skills,” “problem-solving skills,” “financial pressure,” and “productivity,” so the main message is understandable. There are also attempts to express benefits with phrases such as “boost my productivity.” However, the range is limited and some word choices or collocations are inaccurate, which makes parts of the letter sound unnatural: “share something important regarding,” “provide this course in their own company,” and “By getting this seminars.” Spelling errors such as “trainning,” “appriciate,” and “productvity” are noticeable. Build accuracy by checking spelling and learning natural combinations such as “attend a course,” “offer the course in-house,” and “cover the course fee.”

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.5

You attempt both simple and more complex sentence forms, including the conditional request “I would really appreciate it if you could…” and the contrast structure “not only…but also.” These help communicate your purpose, and the overall meaning remains clear. Some grammatical errors persist, however. In “a training course which I saw in advertisement,” the article is missing before “advertisement”; “This course is related to improve” uses an incorrect pattern; and “By getting this seminars” has a mismatch between the demonstrative and noun. The sentence beginning “So, I could get…” is also an incomplete dependent clause when separated from the previous sentence. Practise article use, verb patterns such as “related to improving,” and joining dependent clauses correctly.
