Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 6.5

You address all three points: you identify a data-analysis and management course, explain that you need company approval, role-related paperwork and financial support, and connect the training to database work and client reports. The purpose is clear and relevant. The course description is quite brief, however, and the request for help could be more specific—for example, state whether you are asking the company to pay the fee, provide a salary advance, or approve time away from work. The usefulness is explained through collecting and analysing project data, but could be developed further with a concrete example of how this would improve your own responsibilities. These details would make the request more fully supported.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 6.5

The letter has a clear overall arrangement: it introduces the course, explains the support needed, and then describes its relevance to your work. Paragraphing helps the reader follow these stages, and links such as “In addition” and “because” show relationships between ideas. Some connections are less smooth, particularly the long sentence beginning “Giving that our recent projects,” which combines the project context, several tasks and the expected benefit. The final request is polite but abrupt after this explanation. Use clearer sentence boundaries and a closing transition to connect your work-related reasons to the specific help you are requesting. This would make the progression more consistently natural rather than occasionally mechanical.

Lexical Resource: Band 6.5

You use an adequate range of relevant vocabulary, including “data analysis,” “databases,” “insights,” “prepayment” and “higher quality reports.” These terms make the subject and workplace context clear, and some choices show an attempt to be precise. There are, however, several inaccurate or unnatural forms and collocations, such as “recognized internationaly,” “an amount of money,” and “returned back from my salary.” Spelling errors in “effeciently” and “internationaly” also reduce accuracy. Aim for more natural professional phrasing, such as “internationally recognised,” “financial assistance,” and “repaid through deductions from my salary.” This would improve precision and fluency while retaining your relevant vocabulary.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 6.0

You attempt both simple and more complex sentence forms, including explanations with “because” and a sentence linking the course to workplace outcomes. The main ideas remain understandable, but some grammatical errors affect accuracy. For example, “a course … it focus” has an agreement error and an unnecessary repeated subject; “the paperwork that explain my role” needs a plural verb; and “this prepayment it will be returned” has an incorrect subject structure. The sentence beginning “Giving that” also has a faulty opening and an inappropriate capital after the semicolon. Practise checking subject–verb agreement, clause structure and punctuation, and divide long sentences where needed. More consistently accurate sentences would strengthen control of the range you are attempting.
