Student answer (Band 6.0)
In the modern era, clothing, food and social media are main parts of one person's life. Everyone dresses according to their choice, not as per culture or traditions. So, I am partially agree and disagree with the statement that one can judge to another person by clothing.
First of all, most people would like to wear western clothing rather than other clothes. Because of this particular choice, it is so confusing to define who belongs to which culture, as everyone looks the same. It is a positive point for society as well. For example, in previous decades, people preferred to wear traditional clothes, which also caused discrimination among different groups, but now everyone follows the same fashion, which decreases the level of conflicts among individuals.
Moreover, as every person is well educated, they even dress themselves according to other cultures if they like something about that particular culture. People take traditional clothing as a fashionable thing for them.
On the other hand, previous generation individuals and we could say old people still prefer to wear cultural clothes which helps to define their culture. Furthermore, such generational people still believe that culture is their identity and they want to loose at at any cost. They want to preserve culture by doing all such things that define their culture.
To conclude, clothing and behaviour are main sources to define the character of one person.

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 6.0
The response addresses the prompt but fails to meet the minimum word count requirement of 250 words, which significantly impacts the development of ideas. While you present a position, the arguments remain somewhat superficial and lack the depth required for a higher band. For instance, the discussion on how clothing reflects culture is quite brief, and the conclusion is abrupt, failing to summarize the main points effectively. To improve, you should expand on your examples and ensure that each paragraph provides a thorough explanation of your reasoning. The under-length penalty is applied here as the ideas are not fully developed due to the brevity of the essay.
Coherence and Cohesion — Band 6.5
The essay is organized into paragraphs, which helps the reader follow the structure. You use some cohesive devices like 'First of all', 'Moreover', and 'On the other hand' to signal transitions. However, the flow between sentences is sometimes mechanical, and the logical progression within paragraphs could be smoother. For example, the transition from discussing western clothing to the behavior of the older generation is a bit abrupt. Improving the use of referencing and ensuring that each paragraph has a clear topic sentence would enhance the overall coherence of your writing.
Lexical Resource — Band 6.0
Your vocabulary is adequate for the task, allowing you to communicate your ideas clearly. You use some relevant terms like 'discrimination', 'traditions', and 'generational', but the range is somewhat limited. There are instances of awkward phrasing, such as 'loose at at any cost' and 'generational people', which hinder the sophistication of your expression. To reach a higher band, focus on using more precise collocations and a wider variety of vocabulary related to the topic of culture and identity, while ensuring that your word choices are accurate and natural.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 6.0
You demonstrate a mix of simple and complex sentence structures. While the meaning is generally clear, there are frequent grammatical errors, such as 'I am partially agree' (should be 'I partially agree') and 'judge to another person' (should be 'judge another person'). Punctuation and article usage also show inconsistencies. While these errors do not completely impede communication, they are frequent enough to prevent a higher score. Focusing on subject-verb agreement and refining your use of complex sentence structures will help improve your accuracy and range.
