Student answer (Band 6.5)
Nowadays, people are giving much more attention towards their choices of clothes. Many people believe, choices of clothes can describe an individual's personality and their religious background. Here, I would explain both the opinions and leads to a logical conclusion.
To begin with, in many religions there are some particular style of draping clothes which can help us to interpret their religious. For example, males in Sikh community like to drape their turban in a unique way . Apart from this, women in Hindu communities prefer to wear their traditional clothes (saree) in their major festivals. This types of wearing styles and clothes may give them a sense of attachment towards their culture.
On the opposite side, a person's clothes can never describe their true characters. In this modern era, people are more connected with each other via their business. Where, many profession does not allow them to wear anything apart from the uniform. For example, in a medical field many doctors, nurses prefer to wear their special scrubs. Which allows them to treat every patients equally and respectfully.
The reason behind wearing a uniform is respect. For instance, some patients do not prefer to take treatments from doctors who belongs to some communities because, they may have bigoted mindset. Thus, uniform does not allow to show doctor's personal traits during their working hours.
In conclusion, some draping styles gives us an idea of their related community, nevertheless, the importance of their profession and knowledge should not overlooked either. Therefore, I believe choices of clothes can shows person's culture but this would not allow us to judge anyone's character.

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 6.5
The response addresses the prompt by discussing both culture and character. You clearly state your position in the conclusion, noting that clothing can reflect culture but not necessarily character. However, the development of ideas is somewhat uneven. The section on uniforms is relevant, but the argument regarding 'bigoted mindsets' is slightly tangential and could have been more clearly linked to the core question of whether clothes reveal character. To reach a higher band, ensure that every supporting point directly reinforces your central thesis without drifting into secondary topics.
Coherence and Cohesion — Band 6.5
The essay is logically organized into clear paragraphs, each with a distinct focus. You use some cohesive devices such as 'To begin with', 'Apart from this', and 'In conclusion' to guide the reader. However, some transitions are slightly mechanical or awkward, such as starting a sentence with 'Where,' or 'Which allows them...'. Additionally, the referencing is occasionally unclear, such as in the phrase 'This types of wearing styles', where the pronoun does not match the plural noun. Improving the variety and natural flow of your linking words will enhance the overall coherence.
Lexical Resource — Band 6.5
You demonstrate an adequate range of vocabulary for the task, using terms like 'draping', 'traditional', and 'bigoted'. However, there are several instances of word-choice errors and awkward collocations, such as 'draping their turban' (usually 'wearing' or 'tying') and 'major festivals' (perhaps 'religious festivals' or 'cultural celebrations'). There are also minor grammatical errors involving word forms, such as 'religious' instead of 'religion'. To improve, focus on learning the specific contexts in which certain words are used and pay closer attention to word forms.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 6.0
You attempt a mix of simple and complex sentence structures. While the meaning is generally clear, there are frequent errors in grammar and punctuation. Examples include subject-verb agreement issues ('some draping styles gives', 'doctors who belongs') and incorrect sentence fragments ('Where, many profession does not allow...'). Additionally, there are errors with articles and pluralization, such as 'every patients' and 'a medical field'. While these errors do not impede communication, they occur frequently enough to prevent a higher score. Focus on proofreading for basic agreement and sentence completeness.
