Student answer (Band 6.5)
Clothing plays very crucial role in today’s competitive world as clothes discuss your status accordingly. I strongly agree with the view, as we can recognizes individuals culture from their clothes, which is going to be justified by throwing light on the whole scenario of the essay before coming to reasonable conclusion.
Embarking with the points, the prominent factor in giving my clearance to assigned statements as, every culture has there traditional dress as the result which it is easier to understand there background and culture. For example people in India wear sarees and turbans on special occasions, while many Scots wear kilts during cultural events, such clothing clearly indicates their culture and heritage. So it is reasonable to say that we can identify people from there wearings.
Taking the prospective to other side, character of someone cannot be justified by their appearance. Many people like to wear simple clothes as they are comfortable, fasionable which does not mean that they are some poor family or they do not have status in the society. Sometimes people wearing expensive clothes is not necessarily be kind or honest. Moreover, fashion trends become global, people from different cultures wears same style which ultimately make difficult to understand their culture.
Hammering the final nail into the coffin after pondering the great deals of the thoughts and deliberation; although clothing can offer some insights into a persons culture and, to some extend, their personality, it is not a reliable to understand someones true character. Peoples values and behaviour are much better indicators than their choice of clothing.

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 7.0
The response addresses the prompt by discussing both culture and character. You clearly state your position in the introduction and maintain it throughout. However, the development of ideas is somewhat uneven. While the cultural aspect is supported with specific examples like sarees and kilts, the discussion on character is more general. To reach a higher band, ensure that your arguments are fully extended with more detailed reasoning or illustrative examples. The conclusion effectively summarizes your stance, though it introduces a slight contradiction by suggesting clothing is not a reliable indicator after initially agreeing that it is. Ensure your position remains consistent throughout the essay.
Coherence and Cohesion — Band 6.5
The essay is organized into logical paragraphs, each with a clear focus. You use some cohesive devices, such as 'For example', 'Moreover', and 'although', to link ideas. However, some transitions feel mechanical or slightly awkward, such as 'Embarking with the points' and 'Hammering the final nail into the coffin', which are not idiomatic in this context. Additionally, the referencing is occasionally unclear, such as in the phrase 'as the result which it is easier'. Improving the variety and naturalness of your linking words will help the flow of your writing.
Lexical Resource — Band 6.5
You demonstrate an adequate range of vocabulary for the task, using terms like 'competitive world', 'heritage', and 'deliberation'. However, there are several instances of word-choice errors and non-standard collocations, such as 'discuss your status' (instead of 'reflect' or 'indicate'), 'clearance to assigned statements', and 'there wearings' (instead of 'their attire'). These errors do not impede communication, but they do limit the precision of your expression. To improve, focus on learning common collocations and ensuring that words are used in their correct context.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 6.0
You attempt a mix of simple and complex sentence structures. While the meaning is generally clear, there are frequent grammatical errors, particularly with subject-verb agreement ('people... wears'), article usage, and pluralization ('recognizes individuals culture'). There are also issues with punctuation and sentence fragments, such as the opening sentence. While you show an ability to construct complex sentences, the frequency of these errors prevents the writing from reaching a higher band. Focus on proofreading for basic grammatical accuracy, specifically regarding 'their' vs 'there' and verb forms.
