Student answer (Band 6.0)
A number of individuals find easy to obtain information about culture and traits of persons from the clothes they are wearing. Although I strongly believe that this approach is a great way, in the modern world, many brands are established across the world and that create some level of confusion to identify about background of the people.
In the past time, citizens were proudly show off their culture due it is values and several heroic achievements. As a result, they have a few items to carry as cultural symbol which was the recognition. Moreover, various countries have their identity of clothes due to reason of availability raw materials locally. In other words, there was no reliable transportation and money to spend for goods which were expensive. Therefore, local businesses were forced sell their traditional clothes to the communities. An empirical example is India, where it is known for culture and traditional clothes such a saree for a woman and turban for a man.
On the contrary, the pattern of wearing clothes has been changed in the fast-paced world due to a number causes. Firstly, apparel businesses are not limited to a country only but all over the globe, which entice users to wear designing and trendy garments. As a result, every one is visible in the same clothes. Secondly, there are fixed dresses allotted to working adults in the small to large scale organization which resulted in same colors of shirts and pants on the public. An empirical evidence was published by the renowned magazine that the population are losing their cultural identity after the shift in pattern of outfits.
In conclusion, availability of raw materials and significance of items contributed to the cultural identity of individuals. Conversely, attraction of modern apparel brands and outfit restrictions by many companies affected negatively to find characteristic of humans.

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 6.5
The response addresses the prompt by discussing both the historical significance of clothing and the modern trend toward globalization. The position is clear throughout, although the development of ideas is somewhat uneven. The argument regarding modern brands creating confusion is relevant, but the explanation could be more nuanced. The essay covers all parts of the task, though the link between 'character' and clothing is less explored than the link between 'culture' and clothing. To reach a higher band, ensure that both aspects of the prompt—culture and character—are equally addressed with specific examples.
Coherence and Cohesion — Band 6.5
The essay is logically organized into clear paragraphs, each with a central theme. Cohesive devices such as 'In the past time', 'Moreover', 'On the contrary', and 'In conclusion' are used to guide the reader. However, some transitions feel slightly mechanical, and there are instances where the flow is interrupted by awkward phrasing, such as 'due it is values'. While the paragraphing is appropriate, the internal cohesion within sentences could be improved to ensure a smoother progression of ideas.
Lexical Resource — Band 6.0
The vocabulary is generally adequate for the task, with some attempts at less common items like 'empirical example' and 'fast-paced world'. However, there are several instances of imprecise word choice and collocation errors, such as 'identify about background' instead of 'identify the background' and 'allotted to working adults' instead of 'required for working adults'. These errors do not impede communication, but they limit the precision of the argument. Expanding the range of collocations would help elevate the score.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.5
The essay uses a mix of simple and complex sentence structures. There are frequent grammatical errors, particularly with articles ('the population are losing'), prepositions, and verb forms ('citizens were proudly show off'). Some sentences are structurally awkward, such as 'that create some level of confusion to identify about background of the people'. While the meaning is generally clear, the frequency of these errors prevents the essay from reaching a higher band. Focusing on subject-verb agreement and article usage would significantly improve the accuracy.
