Student answer (Band 6.0)
Diversity in culture plays an important role in styling standards as well. An individual’s choice towards any product might tell us various aspects of their culture, country. Styling varies person to person, some people like to stick with their traditional looks meanwhile other follows trendy stuff.
I am partially agree with this statement because every country has their own outfit standards. Its easy to guess about character and culture from choice, brand of material they use in their daily looks. For example, if a women is wearing an indian saree so its easy to tell that she is from india, she respects her culture, she knows about styling it. Her energy and confidence in that particular dress tells a lot about her day and environment.
On the other hand, some individuals don’t want to look over in public, so they choose to make their look simple and casual. Some people does not wear everything according to their character vibe, they just want something affordable, comfortable. Judging anyone on their appearance is not right everytime. In most cases, people style their outfit according to events, workplace, their mood. So, I believe that guessing the culture and character according to clothes could be wrong at same point of time.
In conclusion, people respects every culture and sometimes they love to style the outfits from other cultures as well. Styling matters a lot in scenario of workplace, events but it does not tells a lot about personality traits and culture. It tells a lot more about energy, clothing collections, styling variance.

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 6.0
The response addresses the prompt by discussing whether clothing reflects culture and character. You provide a clear position, stating you are 'partially agree' (a grammatical error, but the stance is clear). You support your ideas with examples, such as the mention of an Indian saree. However, the development is somewhat limited; the arguments remain at a surface level. To reach a higher band, you should expand on the 'why' and 'how' behind your points. For instance, you could explain more deeply why clothing is a superficial indicator versus a genuine reflection of personality. The conclusion is a bit repetitive and does not fully synthesize the arguments presented in the body paragraphs.
Coherence and Cohesion — Band 6.0
The essay is organized into logical paragraphs, which helps the reader follow your argument. You use some cohesive devices like 'On the other hand' and 'In conclusion' to signal shifts in your writing. However, the flow between sentences is sometimes mechanical, and the use of referencing is occasionally unclear. For example, the transition between the idea of cultural dress and the idea of workplace attire could be smoother. The paragraphing is appropriate, but the internal cohesion within paragraphs could be improved by using a wider variety of linking words to connect your ideas more fluidly rather than relying on simple sentence structures.
Lexical Resource — Band 6.0
Your vocabulary is generally adequate for the task, allowing you to express your ideas clearly. You use some topic-specific vocabulary like 'traditional looks', 'trendy stuff', and 'personality traits'. However, the range is somewhat limited, and there are instances of imprecise word choice, such as 'look over' (likely meaning 'stand out') and 'scenario of workplace'. To improve, try to incorporate more precise collocations and less common lexical items. The repetition of words like 'style' and 'culture' suggests a need for a broader range of synonyms to demonstrate greater lexical flexibility.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 6.0
You demonstrate a mix of simple and complex sentence structures. However, there are frequent grammatical errors that occasionally distract the reader, such as 'I am partially agree' (should be 'I partially agree'), 'some people does not' (should be 'some people do not'), and 'it does not tells' (should be 'it does not tell'). Punctuation is also inconsistent, particularly with comma usage. While these errors do not prevent communication, they are frequent enough to keep the score in the 6.0 range. To improve, focus on subject-verb agreement and the correct use of auxiliary verbs.
