Student answer (Band 5.5)
There is a growing belief by a number of individuals that an option of a person's clothing can help predict their culture and behavior. I firmly agree with this perspective, because personality values can be a visual manifestation of creativity and background
To begin with, clothing plays a vital role in the indication of an individual character trait. This is due to the way they dress can demonstrate their level of creativity. For instance, a person wearing a colorful dress with a nude color of handbag indicate how creative the person is.
Furthermore, the garment people put on for some special occasions can give an insight to their background. For instance, when you see a person wearing a saree, it shows the person is hails from India. Also, a person with an hijab, it indicates the person is a Muslim.
In conclusion, I believe clothing says a lot about people belief and character because it demonstrates their creativity

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 5.0
The response fails to meet the minimum word count requirement of 250 words, reaching only 158 words. This significantly limits the development of ideas. While the position is clear, the arguments are underdeveloped and lack sufficient depth or supporting detail. The examples provided, such as the mention of a saree or hijab, are relevant but are not expanded upon to fully explore the relationship between clothing and character. To reach a higher band, you must extend your arguments with more detailed explanations and examples to meet the length requirement.
Coherence and Cohesion — Band 6.0
The essay is organized into logical paragraphs, and there is a basic attempt at using cohesive devices such as 'To begin with', 'Furthermore', and 'In conclusion'. However, the progression of ideas is somewhat mechanical. The transitions between sentences are sometimes abrupt, and the lack of length prevents the development of a more sophisticated flow. The paragraphing is appropriate, but the overall structure feels incomplete due to the brevity of the response.
Lexical Resource — Band 6.0
The vocabulary is generally adequate for the task but lacks variety and precision. There are some awkward collocations, such as 'an option of a person's clothing' instead of 'a person's choice of clothing'. You use some relevant terms like 'visual manifestation' and 'character trait', which shows an attempt at higher-level vocabulary, but there are also repetitive phrases. To improve, focus on using more precise synonyms and ensuring that word choices are natural and contextually accurate.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.5
The essay contains a mix of simple and complex sentence structures. However, there are several grammatical errors that occur throughout the text, such as 'the way they dress can demonstrate' (should be 'the way they dress demonstrates') and 'the person is hails from India' (incorrect verb usage). Additionally, there are minor errors in subject-verb agreement and article usage. While these errors do not completely impede communication, they are frequent enough to prevent a higher score.
