Student answer (Band 5.0)
People are choosing clothe nowdays, become more mordenize but some people belevie that person culutre and character are chossen by their clothes. So, here I am totally disagree with this statement and I will give some relevant reasons to support my statement.
Firstly, we do have to judge by their clothes but some people judge people by thier bank balance and also with their clothes. Who are really Rich people they can't judge people by their anything because they know how they made their empire from poverty.
Secondly, in our world nowdays, people are very mordenize because of social media and just any thing or items is viral on social media people are getting crazy over that product. For instance, I have seen my friend is become so crazy for that one product that he has seen on some advertisement. In that advertisement it was about sunglasses and that same sunglasses one cricketer has wear so after this he become so crazy that he bought form very next day and he just show off in the college.
Futhermore, people mind become so bad about people are poor that they can't afford expensive thing so from that we can't judge people culture and do not raise any wrong talk about their character.
In conlusion, I would say that I really disagree with this statement and I believe that people always help to poor family and people you are in difficult situation.

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 5.0
The response fails to meet the minimum word count requirement of 250 words, which negatively impacts the task achievement score. While you clearly state your disagreement with the prompt, the development of ideas is limited and somewhat disjointed. The arguments regarding social media trends and wealth are relevant but lack depth and clear connection to the core question of whether clothing reflects culture or character. The conclusion is also somewhat disconnected from the main body of the essay, as it introduces a new point about helping the poor rather than summarising your main arguments. To improve, ensure you fully develop each point with clear examples and maintain a consistent focus on the prompt throughout.
Coherence and Cohesion — Band 5.0
The essay uses basic cohesive devices such as 'Firstly', 'Secondly', and 'Furthermore' to structure the response. However, the logical progression of ideas is often interrupted by unclear phrasing and abrupt transitions. Paragraphing is present, but the internal structure of the paragraphs is weak, making it difficult for the reader to follow your line of reasoning. Referencing is sometimes ambiguous, and the connection between the introduction, body paragraphs, and conclusion is not sufficiently established. To improve, focus on using a wider range of cohesive devices and ensuring that each sentence flows logically from the previous one to create a more unified argument.
Lexical Resource — Band 5.0
The vocabulary is limited and repetitive, with several spelling errors such as 'clothe' instead of 'clothes', 'mordenize' instead of 'modernised', and 'belevie' instead of 'believe'. The range of vocabulary is insufficient to express complex ideas, relying on basic terms like 'bad', 'crazy', and 'thing'. There are also issues with word choice and collocation, such as 'wrong talk' and 'people mind become so bad'. To reach a higher band, you should work on expanding your vocabulary to include more precise and academic terms, and pay closer attention to spelling and the correct usage of words in context.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.0
The essay contains frequent grammatical errors that often impede communication. There are significant issues with subject-verb agreement (e.g., 'people are choosing clothe nowdays'), tense usage, and sentence structure (e.g., 'just any thing or items is viral'). Many sentences are fragmented or poorly constructed, making the meaning unclear. While there is an attempt to use complex sentences, they are often faulty or contain errors that distract the reader. To improve, focus on mastering basic sentence structures, ensuring correct verb tenses, and proofreading for common errors like subject-verb agreement and pluralisation.
