Student answer (Band 6.0)
In this modern society, it is hard to say about a person’s backgrounds from the selection of their clothes because in the present scenario, the considerable amount of people adopt a western culture. I am entirely agree with this notion, because of the reasons, which will be discussed in the subsequent segments.
Commencing with the first viewpoint, there are several reasons to be agreed. The most prominent reason is that in the present scenario, there is no correlation between attires and traditions.owing to this, people wear clothes for their comfortable and demonstrate themselves up to date with current trends. It helps them to stay confident and comfortable and focus on their work effectively. For example when people joins numerous international business and companies , they have to wear clothes according to dress code which is not resemble with any traditions and help to promote equality.
Furthermore, although, the younger and adult generation opt western clothing style rather than senior citizens , they still connected with their roots. To explain it, people wear clothes according to their needs and trends. It does not explain that they are not attached with their ancestors.
To conclude, due to the reasons such as illustrate themselves confident and comfortable and follow the trends to stay up to date, I personally reckon that it is individual choice what and where they want to wear what kind of clothes. People should not have any right to judge someone on the basis of their clothes because people connect with their historical backgrounds from heart not from clothes.

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 6.0
The response addresses the prompt and maintains a clear position throughout. However, the development of ideas is somewhat limited. While you mention that clothes are chosen for comfort and trends rather than culture, the supporting examples, such as the mention of international business dress codes, are brief and could be expanded to better illustrate your point. The argument that younger generations remain connected to their roots despite wearing Western clothing is a good point, but it lacks specific evidence or a deeper explanation to fully persuade the reader. To improve, aim to provide more detailed examples and ensure each paragraph fully explores the implications of your main argument.
Coherence and Cohesion — Band 6.0
The essay is organized into logical paragraphs, and there is a clear introduction, body, and conclusion. You use some cohesive devices like 'Commencing with', 'Furthermore', and 'To conclude' to link your ideas. However, the flow between sentences is occasionally mechanical, and some transitions feel slightly forced. For instance, the transition between the discussion of business dress codes and the connection to roots is abrupt. Improving the variety of cohesive devices and ensuring that sentences within paragraphs are more tightly linked would enhance the overall readability and logical progression of your argument.
Lexical Resource — Band 6.0
Your vocabulary is generally adequate for the task, allowing you to convey your meaning clearly. You use some relevant terms such as 'correlation', 'traditions', and 'ancestors'. However, there are instances of awkward phrasing and word choice, such as 'considerable amount of people' (should be 'a considerable number of people') and 'not resemble with any traditions' (should be 'do not resemble any traditions'). To reach a higher band, focus on using more precise collocations and avoiding repetitive phrasing. Expanding your range of topic-specific vocabulary related to sociology or fashion would also be beneficial.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.5
The essay contains a mix of simple and complex sentence structures. While the meaning is generally clear, there are frequent grammatical errors that affect the fluency of the text. Examples include 'I am entirely agree' (should be 'I entirely agree'), 'people joins' (should be 'people join'), and 'it is individual choice what and where they want to wear' (which is syntactically awkward). Punctuation is also inconsistent, particularly with spacing after commas and periods. To improve, focus on subject-verb agreement and the correct use of articles and prepositions. Proofreading for these recurring errors will help you achieve a higher score.
