Student answer (Band 5.5)
Culture and character are the true identity of an individual. Therefore, some humans tell that it is probable to talk more about a person's culture and character from their choice of gear. I truly agree with this statement that we can easily rectify about the country and occupation. we are going to illustrates further in this essay with relevant example.
To begin with, culture is like an iceberg in the world. However, individuals can easily be known by their culture, such as religion, language, art, food, and norms. many people have different style to greet; similarly, some people have different types of art. For instance, many Indians are easy to recognise by the style of dance; it is called Garba, and many people can also predict that he is Hindu and that he is from India.
Furthermore, I agree most of the time, people are always recognised by their clothing. Because of clothing, people can know about their background, such as where he is from. Also, tells more about where he is going and where he is coming from. To exemplify, people wear traditional wear that he going for events such as festivals or weddings, and some person wearing business suits so he can make an impression of a business style. Moreover, people can find their taste from the clothing that he is into, trends, or he is inro vintage.
In conclusion, I would agree that it is possible to know someone more by their culture, and it is through the appearance of their clothing. such as his work, country of origin, gender identity, and age group.

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 5.5
The response addresses the prompt by expressing a clear position, but the development of ideas is somewhat superficial. While you provide examples like traditional Indian clothing and business suits, the connection between these items and a person's 'character' is not fully explored; the essay focuses more on culture and occupation. The argument remains a bit repetitive, and the conclusion introduces new points (gender identity, age group) that were not discussed in the body paragraphs. To improve, ensure that each body paragraph deeply explores the link between clothing and character traits, rather than just listing external identifiers like country of origin.
Coherence and Cohesion — Band 5.5
The essay is organized into paragraphs, but the flow between sentences is often mechanical. You use some cohesive devices like 'To begin with,' 'Furthermore,' and 'In conclusion,' but the internal logic within paragraphs is sometimes disjointed. For example, the transition from discussing culture as an 'iceberg' to specific examples of dance is abrupt. Additionally, the use of referencing is occasionally unclear, such as the frequent use of 'he' to refer to a person in a general sense, which creates confusion. Improving the use of linking words and ensuring clear pronoun references would significantly enhance the readability of your writing.
Lexical Resource — Band 5.0
Your vocabulary is generally adequate for the task, but it lacks the precision and variety required for a higher band. You rely on basic terms like 'gear,' 'style,' and 'things,' and there are some awkward word choices, such as 'rectify' (which means to correct, not to identify) and 'inro' (a spelling error). While you attempt to use some topic-specific vocabulary like 'traditional wear' and 'vintage,' the overall range is limited. To reach a higher band, focus on using more sophisticated collocations and synonyms to avoid repetition and improve the naturalness of your expression.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.0
There are frequent grammatical errors throughout the essay that occasionally impede communication. Issues include subject-verb agreement (e.g., 'some humans tell,' 'some person wearing'), incorrect verb forms ('we are going to illustrates'), and missing articles. The sentence structures are mostly simple or contain errors when you attempt more complex constructions. For instance, 'Because of clothing, people can know about their background' is a basic structure, and the sentence 'Also, tells more about where he is going' lacks a clear subject. Focusing on basic sentence construction and proofreading for subject-verb agreement will help improve your accuracy.
