Student answer (Band 6.0)
Nowadays, many people arguing that it is easy get to know about person's character and their religion based upon their choice of clothes. There is plenty of cultures in this world everyone has their own method of choice of clothes, Here in my opinion I am partially agree with this statement which I will explain in upcoming paragraphs.
On the first hand, having lots of culture, traditions and character of person, we can identify them based on that things. Few people find it easy to know about person from their daily routine and the way of their living such as, language, body gesture and clothing. For instance, there is different kind of people working on same workplace it is easy to identify person from their way of daily routine.
On the other hand, identification of any person should not be only based on their culture and and character. Many people prefer to convert them into other culture through legal process such as marriages. For instance, people from India Especially, woman changes their family name and clothing style as well after marriage so that does not mean they born from that same culture. Many people interested to stay according other cultures and love to wear clothes of different styles. Whereas, in today's era people exploring each other's culture by accepting the routines. Moreover. taste bud is changing day by day of people the most obvious reason behind this is trend of technological devices in market. People love to interested to explore new things such as, different cuisine, cloths and their way of living.
In conclusion, in my opinion judging person's character and their tradition because of clothing is not convenient way. The only reason behind this is because of availibility of technological gadgets in market makes people more attractive to follow other culture and try new things.

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 6.0
The response addresses the prompt by taking a clear position, though the development of ideas is somewhat uneven. You successfully identify that clothing can be a marker of culture but also argue that it is not a definitive indicator of character due to globalization and personal choice. However, some arguments, particularly the mention of 'taste buds' and 'technological devices,' are tangential and not clearly linked to the core topic of clothing as a reflection of character. To improve, ensure that every supporting point directly reinforces your central thesis rather than introducing loosely related concepts.
Coherence and Cohesion — Band 6.0
The essay is organized into logical paragraphs, which helps the reader follow your argument. You use basic cohesive devices such as 'On the first hand,' 'On the other hand,' and 'In conclusion' to signal shifts in your argument. However, the use of these devices is sometimes mechanical or slightly inaccurate (e.g., 'On the first hand' is non-standard). Additionally, some sentences lack smooth transitions, making the flow feel a bit disjointed. To reach a higher band, focus on using a wider variety of linking words and ensuring that the relationship between sentences is always clear.
Lexical Resource — Band 6.0
Your vocabulary is generally adequate for the task, allowing you to express your ideas clearly. You use some relevant topic-specific terms like 'traditions,' 'globalization,' and 'culture.' However, there are instances of awkward phrasing and word choice, such as 'convenient way' instead of 'reliable indicator' or 'accurate reflection.' There are also minor errors in word formation, such as 'availibility' (spelling) and 'love to interested to explore.' Expanding your range to include more precise collocations and ensuring accurate spelling will help you achieve a higher score.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.5
The essay contains a mix of simple and complex sentence structures. While you attempt complex sentences, there are frequent grammatical errors, including issues with subject-verb agreement ('many people arguing,' 'woman changes'), article usage ('on same workplace'), and sentence fragments ('Moreover. taste bud is changing'). These errors are noticeable and occasionally distract the reader, though they do not fully impede communication. To improve, focus on proofreading for basic subject-verb agreement and ensuring that your sentences are complete and grammatically sound.
