Student answer (Band 6.0)
There is an ongoing debate about knowing a person from their clothes. I personally presume that this is not possible to some extent. Both views will be elaborated in the upcoming paragraphs with relevant examples.
Examining the former view, choice of cloths play
crucial role in recognizing the culture of others. This is correct because most of the individuals wear suits according to the society in which they are living. For instance, if we see an individual in salwar kamej, we get to know that this person belongs to Punjab as these types of clothes are acceptable there. Not only this, there is a believe that a man who wears turban are much stronger and safer rather than other person.
On the contrary, time has changed due to advancement in technology. In this globalized world eon, it is quite difficult to judge the character of a person after observing their clothes. So, there are numerous humans who want to adapt the culture of others as they have various tools to learn about that particular culture. Because of this, most of the individuals started to follow other culture’s norms and rights. Consequently, we cannot make a right judgment. For instance, there was “Miss Universe” show held in 2015. I noticed that a girl who won this show was an American girl and wore a saree.
To conclude, there are innumerable robust factors determining that clothes are helpful to know about human’s personality. However, this is not always correct due to above discussed facts.

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 6.0
The response addresses the prompt by discussing both sides of the argument. However, the development of ideas is somewhat limited. While you provide examples like the 'salwar kameez' and the 'Miss Universe' pageant, the analysis remains superficial. For instance, the link between wearing a turban and being 'safer' is unclear and lacks logical depth. To reach a higher band, you should expand on the 'why' and 'how' behind your arguments rather than just stating them. The conclusion is also slightly contradictory, as it suggests clothes are helpful for knowing personality, which conflicts with your earlier stance that it is not possible.
Coherence and Cohesion — Band 6.5
The essay is organized into clear paragraphs, and there is a logical progression of ideas. You use some cohesive devices such as 'For instance', 'On the contrary', and 'Consequently' to link your thoughts. However, some transitions feel mechanical, and the referencing is occasionally weak. For example, the phrase 'due to above discussed facts' is a bit clunky. The paragraphing is appropriate, but the flow between sentences could be improved by using a wider variety of linking words and ensuring that each sentence builds naturally upon the previous one.
Lexical Resource — Band 6.0
You have an adequate range of vocabulary to convey your meaning, but there are several instances of imprecise word choice and minor errors. For example, you use 'presume' where 'argue' or 'contend' would be more appropriate, and 'eon' is used incorrectly in the context of 'globalized world'. There are also spelling errors such as 'cloths' (should be 'clothes') and 'believe' (should be 'belief'). To improve, focus on using more precise academic vocabulary and ensure you are using words in their correct collocations.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 6.0
The essay contains a mix of simple and complex sentence structures. While the meaning is generally clear, there are frequent grammatical errors that affect the quality of the writing. Examples include 'choice of cloths play' (subject-verb agreement error), 'a man who wears turban are' (subject-verb agreement), and 'most of the individuals started to follow other culture’s norms' (article and pluralization issues). While these errors do not impede communication, they are frequent enough to prevent a higher score. Focus on subject-verb agreement and the correct use of articles.
