Student answer (Band 5.5)
There is an ongoing debate about the attire is wear by individuals which can tell about their cultures as well as their character. If questioned, I Completely unison with the given statement. My preference will be justified in the ensuing paragraph.
The first and foremost arguement I would put forth to shed light on my inclination is that world has different cultures and beliefs. People wear diffferent attires by following their cultures. For instance, a lady is from muslim religion so she is wearing black burkha so, by seeing that people can tell she is following her culture and by judging her character they also think that she is following her religion beliefs.
on the contary, some people may counter claim that there is no possiblity to say about a person by looking their outfit becuase individual cannot judge a person by their clothes if his or her character is good or bad. For instance, in many countries some people have their old mindset of wearing full clothes so if a girl is wearing short attire it cannot specify her character is bad because she is wearing the clothes by her choices so there is no possibilty to judge people by their clothes.
In conclusion, although some people believe that there is a less possibility to tell about the character and culture about the individual by seeing them in the specific attire, my arguments clearly outline that if a person who wear the clothes by their religion beliefs so people can definitely tell a lot about their culture and character.

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 6.0
The response addresses the prompt by taking a clear position of agreement and attempting to support it with reasons and examples. However, the ideas lack full development and depth. For instance, the first body paragraph attempts to explain how clothing reflects culture and character through the example of a Muslim woman wearing a burkha, but the reasoning is overly simplified and borders on generalisation. Similarly, the counter-argument discusses modern versus traditional mindsets regarding clothing choices, but the explanation is tangled and repetitive. While all parts of the task are addressed, the arguments remain somewhat limited and under-developed, aligning best with Band 6.
Coherence and Cohesion — Band 6.0
The essay is organized into four distinct paragraphs, including an introduction, two body paragraphs, and a conclusion, which provides a coherent overall arrangement. Transitional phrases such as 'The first and foremost arguement', 'on the contary', and 'In conclusion' are used to signpost the structure, though some links feel slightly mechanical. Referencing and cohesive devices are generally functional, but occasional awkward phrasing creates minor bumps in logical progression. Paragraphing is used sufficiently to group ideas, supporting an overall score of 6.0.
Lexical Resource — Band 5.5
The vocabulary used is adequate for the task, allowing the writer to communicate basic ideas about culture, character, and attire. However, there are numerous word choice and spelling inaccuracies, such as 'attire is wear' instead of 'attire worn', 'arguement', 'diffferent', 'posssiblity', and 'becuase'. While the writer attempts less common lexical items like 'inclination', 'counter claim', and 'mindset', these are often marred by spelling errors or awkward collocations. Communication is not seriously impeded, but the lexical limitations place this response firmly in the Band 5.5 to 6.0 range.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.0
The essay demonstrates a mix of simple and complex sentence forms, such as 'If questioned, I Completely unison with the given statement' and 'although some people believe that there is a less possibility to tell...'. However, grammatical accuracy is weak, featuring frequent errors such as subject-verb agreement issues ('a lady is from muslim religion so she is wearing black burkha'), incorrect prepositions ('religion beliefs' instead of 'religious beliefs'), and awkward phrasing ('if a person who wear the clothes by their religion beliefs'). These errors cause some difficulty for the reader and restrict the grammatical range and accuracy score to Band 5.0.
