Student answer (Band 5.0)

It is argued that clothes can express the cultures and personalities of individuals. while some people agree about thattrend others diagree. I am partly agree about that trend because clothes cannot be a reliable method to evaluate indidviduals and it is asuperficial thought. in this essaywill discus that.

First, clothing is unreliable method to understand others. In modern live style many people tend to use simple clothes during the achieving daily routine. For instance, itelligent and practical personalities prefer to wear simple clothes because they see this clothes are practical to wear, as alway they misjudged from others and treated unfairly due to their style of clothes.

Clothing will lead to superficial public preception. using clothes as the measure to understand othe will contribute to superficial thoughts in our society and misacting to unproper personalties becuse of their colthes. For instance, fraud persons always put nice suits to decive others. Consequently, valuable virtues will declined from our preception due to this measures. it can save time

traditional Costumes some time will to act correctly in many situations. Many cultures imposes to use a traditional costumes in order to respect cultures. For instance, indian people used to wear their traditional costumes in public because they are proud of their culture.

To sum up, although clothing can sve time to act correctly with many personalities. I believe this method is unreliable to measure other and superficial way.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.0

The response addresses the prompt partially, presenting a position that leans toward disagreement, but the ideas remain limited and under-developed. For example, while the writer touches upon the unreliability of clothing and the concept of superficial public perception, these points are not sufficiently extended with robust explanation or comprehensive real-world evidence. Additionally, the length requirement is not met, as the essay falls short of the two hundred and fifty-word minimum, containing only two hundred and thirty-five words. To achieve a higher score, the writer needs to fully develop each main idea with clear, detailed supporting points and ensure the essay reaches the required word count.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.0

There is some basic organisation with attempts at paragraphing, but the essay lacks a clear overall progression. Cohesive devices are frequently inadequate, inaccurate, or repetitive, such as the mechanical repetition of 'For instance' and abrupt transitions like 'it can save time' which disrupt the logical flow. Referencing is also unclear at times, making it difficult for the reader to follow the exact relationship between ideas. To progress, the writer must employ a wider and more accurate range of cohesive ties, ensure smooth transitions between sentences and paragraphs, and structure the overall argument so that the progression of ideas is clear and natural throughout.

Lexical Resource: Band 5.0

The vocabulary used is limited but minimally adequate to convey the basic message. There are noticeable lexical errors and issues with word choice, collocation, and spelling throughout the text, such as 'indidviduals', 'asuperficial', 'live style', 'itelligent', 'preception', 'unproper', 'personalties', 'colthes', 'fraud persons', and 'decive'. These errors occasionally cause difficulty for the reader. The writer attempts some less common vocabulary, but inaccurate control holds the score down. To improve, the student needs to expand their range of vocabulary, pay closer attention to word formation and spelling, and ensure that words are used in appropriate collocations and contexts.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0

The writing demonstrates a very limited range of sentence structures, and attempts at complex sentences are often faulty. There are frequent grammatical errors involving verb forms, articles, prepositions, and subject-verb agreement, such as 'while some people agree about thattrend others diagree', 'I am partly agree', 'clothing is unreliable method', 'this clothes are practical', and 'traditional Costumes some time will to act correctly'. These frequent errors can cause difficulty for the reader. To reach the next level, the writer should focus on mastering basic sentence structures, improving the accuracy of complex forms, and carefully checking for grammatical slips such as missing articles and incorrect verb patterns.
