Student answer (Band 5.0)
Through different forms of print and digital media, we come across reports that in our society people believe that we can judge a person's background and cheracter from their sense of dressing. There is a widespread controversy on this matter. After close scrutiny of debate surrounding this phenomenon, I completely accede.
My stand can be justified with multiple observations. the most convincing reason is that in india we have diversity and people from different state wearing different type of clothes. This view exists as sometimes people from rural areas do not believe into wearing shorts or mordern clothes. As a result, they always go with tradition. Not only this, I think people who bealive in first impression is last impression they are like clothes are the things by which we can catch a person how much they confident, how he/she talks, walks. This hypothesis beyoud in the idea that most of the time your confidence come with your clothes, if a person wear outstanding clothes always go with confidence. So, In today's world people are always believes in a pesons who wear good clothes and people never doubt on their charater.
To go ahed in this matter, people who has low character always come with a certain types of clothes. By this I mean that a loafers wear pants with cuts and shirt with open buttons. Therefore, we can see that type of loffers by their clothes and save us from them from robbery. I can cite a paradigm for this. According to a recent research in this matter a well known persons said that your first impression is your last impression which mean people being judged by their looks and clothes.
To conclude, people always being judged by their clothes but they will never show in front of that person directly. It is recommended that people should not judge by their clothes because sometime people wearing low quality clothes just because they do not afford high quality of clothes.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.5
You take a clear position in the opening, saying you “completely accede,” and you give reasons related to regional clothing traditions, confidence, and first impressions. These points are relevant to whether clothes reveal culture and character. However, the response only partially develops the task: the discussion shifts between cultural background, confidence, trustworthiness, and criminality without clearly explaining how each supports your position. The claim that people with “low character” can be identified by particular clothes is especially broad and unsupported, while the final recommendation not to judge people introduces a qualification that conflicts with your earlier agreement. Develop fewer points with specific, credible examples and make your position consistent throughout.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.0
The response has an introduction, two body paragraphs, and a conclusion, and phrases such as “The most convincing reason” and “To conclude” help signal its structure. However, the overall progression is difficult to follow because several ideas are joined without clear relationships. For example, the first body paragraph moves from rural clothing traditions to confidence and then to whether people are trusted. The second shifts to “low character,” clothing, and robbery, with the connection between these claims left unclear. Linking phrases such as “Not only this” and “Therefore” are sometimes used mechanically rather than to show a precise logical link. Organise each paragraph around one main reason, explain it in sequence, and use clear references to connect examples to that reason.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.0
You attempt vocabulary suited to an argumentative essay, including “diversity,” “tradition,” “first impression,” and “hypothesis.” However, the range is limited by repeated general words such as “people,” “clothes,” and “good,” and several inaccurate choices make meaning harder to follow. “I completely accede” does not naturally express agreement with an opinion, while “a paradigm” is not an appropriate way to introduce an example. There are also noticeable spelling errors, including “cheracter,” “mordern,” and “bealive.” Aim for precise, natural collocations and check spelling carefully. For instance, use “I completely agree” and “an example” rather than the phrases above, and choose specific terms for clothing styles or social impressions.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
You attempt both simple and longer sentences, including clauses introduced by “because” and “which,” but complex sentences are often faulty and errors occur frequently enough to make some passages difficult to understand. Examples include “people who has low character,” where the subject and verb do not agree, and “people are always believes,” which combines incompatible verb forms. In “people from different state wearing different type of clothes,” the sentence lacks a complete verb and has number-agreement problems. Sentence boundaries and punctuation also need attention, as in “sense of dressing. There” and the long sentence beginning “Not only this.” Practise building complete sentences with one clear main clause, then check agreement, verb forms, articles, and punctuation.
