Student answer (Band 6.0)
Clothing might be express about person's personality. It is argued by some people it shows us about culture and character of the person. I believe that the clothes can offers some insights on culture and character, but it not gives accurate information regarding these expressions.
Choice of clothes has been reflects about person's culture heritage. Someone who wear Kimono who is belongs to Japenese culture and who wear a sari they connected to Indian culture. These garments just refelects culture and wear on any special events and festivals. While these days everyone prefer to wear western clothing, so nobody can be judged through the clothes Like Indian people prefer jeans and T-shirts, Japenese people wearing western style business suits for the regular basis. Hence, It may gives hint at cultural roots, it is not definite indicator.
Secondly, clothing also reflect about person's character. For instance, people who choose bright and bold colour might be seen as outgoing, and other who prefer muted tones could be considered introvert person. These assumptions are offen superficial and misleading. Individuals may wear certain types of clothes for various practical reasons and social or professional expectations. Therefore, these not showing their own personality.
In conclusion, Although clthoing tells about the person's culture and character, I believe choice of clothes not giving proper or adequet information about the person. Factor such as Globalization and person circumstances not only reliable on the attire of person. It is essential to look at background of the people to know about their personality and culture heritage.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 6.5
Your position is clear: clothing can offer clues about culture and character, but it is not a reliable way to judge someone. You address both parts of the question and support them with relevant examples, including the kimono and sari, and the contrast between bright colours and muted tones. This gives the response a solid, relevant foundation. However, some points are asserted rather than fully explained. For example, the cultural paragraph says that Western clothing is now common, but could explain more clearly how this weakens clothing as evidence of cultural identity. The character paragraph would also benefit from a specific example showing how practical or professional expectations affect clothing choices. More developed reasoning would make the argument more convincing.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 6.5
The response has a clear overall structure: an introduction, separate paragraphs on culture and character, and a conclusion. The progression from cultural clues to personality clues is easy to follow, and signposts such as “Secondly,” “For instance,” and “In conclusion” help guide the reader. This is a coherent arrangement, though some linking is mechanical and a few references are unclear. For example, “Therefore, these not showing their own personality” does not clearly identify what “these” refers to, and the transition beginning “While these days” is awkwardly connected to the preceding sentence. Use more precise referencing and connect contrasting ideas within sentences more smoothly. This would make cohesion feel more natural and strengthen the progression between claims and examples.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.5
You use relevant topic vocabulary, including “culture heritage,” “special events and festivals,” “bright and bold colour,” and “social or professional expectations.” These choices show an attempt to discuss the topic beyond very basic terms. However, the range and control are uneven: several word choices or collocations are inaccurate, such as “express about,” “insights on,” and “reliable on the attire.” Spelling errors, including “Japenese,” “refelects,” and “clthoing,” also reduce precision. Some repetition of “clothes” and “person” could be avoided with suitable alternatives. Aim to learn vocabulary in natural phrases and check spelling carefully; more accurate collocations would make your ideas clearer and more fluent.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
You attempt both simple and more complex sentence forms, including contrast and reason clauses, as in “While these days everyone prefer to wear western clothing” and “Individuals may wear certain types of clothes for various practical reasons.” However, control is limited, and errors occur across many sentences. Examples include “It is argued by some people it shows us,” “the clothes can offers,” “Someone who wear,” and “choice of clothes not giving.” These involve missing clauses or auxiliaries, subject–verb agreement, and verb-form errors. Articles and sentence boundaries also need attention, as in “about person's personality” and the run-on transition after “clothes.” Practise building accurate subject–verb–object sentences first, then add subordinate clauses and check each verb against its subject.
