Student answer (Band 6.0)
Clothing plays a vital role in making judgements. However, people argue that the style of clothing can tell a lot about culture and nature of an individuals. To which I largely agree.
Without any qualms,a style of clothing is an excellent way of defining a person's nature or culture. For instance, hijab is manadatory for ladies in some culture and hence we can figure out that their religion is muslim and hence they follow that cultural heritage. One can easily capture an idea by observing a style of clothing. A clothing like suits and a blazer would define a professionalism. Which means the person is working in the company. Similarlly, a security or a police would come will the full uniform and hence people can directly judge their role and their status.
Nevertheless, clothing does not hold impression of the people. A person may be raised in a poverished background but may be working in a big company still loves to wear simple and elegant clothing. To the pertinent the case says that never judge the book by its cover. A person may be affected by predicament and conflict due to which they prefer a normal clothing. For instance, an undercover agent would still wears a common cloth, beacuse of his work they cannot show the real image to the public and hence no one can give any judgements through their clothing especailly about their status they hold.
To the nutshell, clothings are essential largely in noticing people's status or their religion however, it could be just a factual approach sometimes the consequences and situations make the different clothing prefrences for the people regardless of theur status or background. One should always witness the soituation rather then believing by other ways

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 6.0
You give a clear, qualified position: “I largely agree,” while acknowledging that clothing cannot always reveal a person’s background or status. The examples of hijab, workwear and an undercover agent are relevant and show that you address both the value and limits of judging from clothing. However, the discussion is unevenly developed. The first paragraph mainly identifies what clothing may indicate, while the counterargument introduces poverty, personal preference and concealment without fully explaining how these relate to culture and character. The conclusion also shifts towards judging people’s “status or religion,” rather than directly restating how far clothing reveals character. Develop each main point with a clearer explanation and keep the focus on both parts of the question.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 6.0
The response has a recognisable overall structure: an introduction, two contrasting body paragraphs and a conclusion. Linking expressions such as “For instance,” “Nevertheless” and “To the nutshell” help signal examples and contrast, so the reader can follow the broad line of argument. However, some connections are mechanical or unclear. The sentence beginning “A clothing like suits and a blazer” is followed by the fragment “Which means the person is working in the company,” and the transition from poverty to the saying about judging a book is not fully explained. The final paragraph also combines several ideas in a long sentence. Use complete sentences, make the relationship between examples explicit, and ensure each paragraph develops one central point.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.5
You attempt a range of vocabulary relevant to the topic, including “cultural heritage,” “professionalism,” “undercover agent” and “predicament.” These choices show an effort to express more than basic ideas, and the overall meaning is generally understandable. However, several word choices and collocations are inaccurate or unnatural, such as “nature of an individuals,” “a poverished background,” “a factual approach” and “witness the soituation.” Spelling errors, including “manadatory,” “Similarlly” and “especailly,” also reduce precision. Aim for natural, accurate phrases rather than inserting formal-sounding words where they do not fit. For example, explain that clothing may “suggest” someone’s role or background, rather than saying it “defines” them.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.5
You use both simple statements and attempts at more complex sentences, including clauses introduced by “but,” “which” and “due to which.” This gives the response some structural variety, and the main argument can usually be understood. Some grammatical errors remain, particularly with articles, agreement, verb forms and sentence boundaries. Examples include “a person’s nature or culture” after the plural reference to individuals, “a security or a police would come,” and “an undercover agent would still wears.” The fragment “Which means the person is working in the company” should be joined to the preceding sentence or rewritten as a complete sentence. Review subject–verb agreement and verb patterns, and use punctuation to separate complete ideas.
