Student answer (Band 6.0)
Some people say that it is easy to judge about culture and personality of a person from their dressing sense. Although, dressing style indicates the heritage of people but it is not possible to rule out about their character through this. This essay will discuss my opinion with clear reason in the followings paragraphs.
One of the primary reasons is that different areas have various cultures which can be recognized by their choice of clothes. Moreover, some people usually wear kameez shalwar or kurta to indicate that they are belongs to Punjab. Nowadays, many organizations have been setting dress code for their employees to represents their tradition at international meetings. For example, each country has its own sports team and players have to wear different colour uniform assigned by their sports organization to represents their country culture such as Pakistani Team sportsperson has to wear green colour uniform to represent their national flag colour.
The significant reason why I am partially agree is that each person has its own personality and it is not possible to judge someone's personality by their dressing style because character is built on actions. A greater proportion of people say that people nature can be scaled by their internal behavior such as empathy, kindness and anger. Many religious humans are loving to wear long abayas but it does not mean that they are religious people. For instance, in India, a large number of actresses commonly prefer to wear clothes according to their interest or fashion but it unable to show which one actresses is kind and which one is polite.
In conclusion, citizen's wearing choices is no doubt reflect their heritage but it impossible to rule out about their nature because of different scale for character measurement. So, that's why I do not fully agree with this opinion of people.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 6.5
Your position is clear: you partly disagree because clothing can suggest cultural heritage but cannot reliably reveal character. You address both aspects of the question and support them with relevant examples, including traditional clothing, national sports uniforms, and abayas. The contrast between visible cultural signals and character being shown through actions is a useful central idea. However, some support is more asserted than explained: the sports-uniform example shows national identity more directly than an individual’s culture, and the actresses example does not clearly demonstrate why clothing cannot reveal kindness or politeness. To strengthen the response, explain how each example proves your point and distinguish more precisely between cultural affiliation and personal character.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 6.5
The response has a clear overall structure: an introduction, two body paragraphs presenting the cultural and character aspects, and a conclusion that restates your partial disagreement. The progression from what clothing may indicate to what it cannot establish is logical, and phrases such as “Moreover” and “For instance” help signal examples. Some linking is mechanical or imprecise, however. “Although” at the start of the introduction does not connect smoothly to the following sentence, while “So, that’s why” repeats the same concluding relationship. The first body paragraph also moves from regional dress to workplace dress codes and then sports uniforms without fully explaining the links. Use clearer transitions and make each paragraph’s examples build directly on its main point.
Lexical Resource: Band 6.0
You use an adequate range for the topic, including “heritage,” “dress code,” “empathy,” and “personality,” and you attempt some less common expressions. Meaning is generally understandable, but several word choices and collocations are inaccurate or unnatural, such as “judge about,” “dressing sense,” “scaled by their internal behavior,” and “rule out about their nature.” Some phrases also obscure the intended meaning, including “they are belongs to Punjab” and “different scale for character measurement.” Aim for more natural topic vocabulary and check how verbs combine with prepositions. For example, use “infer” or “judge” directly, and describe character as being assessed through behaviour rather than “scaled.” These refinements would make your ideas more precise and fluent.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.5
You attempt a mix of simple and complex forms, including a concession in “Although, dressing style indicates…” and a reason clause beginning “because character is built on actions.” The main ideas remain understandable, but some grammatical errors recur in agreement, verb forms, articles, and sentence construction. Examples include “they are belongs,” “to represents,” “I am partially agree,” and “it impossible to rule out,” where the verb or auxiliary structure is incorrect or incomplete. There are also awkwardly formed clauses, such as “it is not possible to rule out about their character through this.” Work on subject–verb agreement and complete verb patterns, and revise each sentence for a clear subject and finite verb. Greater accuracy would make your complex attempts easier to follow.
