You work at home and have a problem with a piece of equipment that you use for your job.

Write a letter to the shop or company which supplied the equipment. In your letter

• describe the problem with the equipment
• explain how this problem is affecting your work
• say what you want the shop or company to do

Dear Sir or Madam,

This letter is to make you aware about the problem which I have been facing with your Wi-fi services which I installed at my house a month ago.

Since day one, the Wi-fi gets disconnected automatically while I am using it. Initially I thought it could related to the electricity when the power fluctuates; after checking with the electrician I learned that it is a problem with the Wi-fi system. I am an IT professional and work remotely from my home; this requires the continuous use of the internet throughout the day.

I experience this problem at least twice a day. Moreover, it results in frustration, increases work related stress and performing the same task again from the beginning which takes a considerable amount of time. In addition, to cope with my project submission time, I often struggle to get enough sleep because I work till late at night.

I would kindly request you to investigate the problem associated with the system or replace it entirely. I will greatly appreciate it and will write positive reviews about the company once it is done.

I hope you take further steps to address this problem as soon as possible.
