Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 6.5

You have addressed all three bullet points of the task: describing the problem, explaining the impact on your work, and stating your desired outcome. The tone is appropriate for a formal complaint letter. However, the development of ideas is somewhat limited. For example, while you mention that the laptop has 'myriads of technical issues,' these are described in a vague way ('some websites are not available'). Providing a more specific example of a hardware or software failure would have strengthened the letter. Overall, the purpose of the letter is clear, and the reader understands exactly what you are requesting.

Coherence and Cohesion — Band 6.5

The letter follows a logical structure, with a clear introduction, body paragraphs, and a closing. You use basic cohesive devices such as 'however,' 'therefore,' and 'although' to link ideas. However, some transitions feel a bit mechanical or forced, such as 'due to the fact that it creating various problems in my life.' Additionally, the paragraphing is functional, but the flow between the description of the problem and the impact on your work could be smoother. The use of referencing is generally clear, though some sentence structures are slightly repetitive in their construction.

Lexical Resource — Band 6.0

You have an adequate range of vocabulary for the task, using terms like 'adequately,' 'myriads,' and 'prompt response.' However, there are several instances of awkward word choice and collocation errors, such as 'after the few days it stop working' (should be 'after a few days it stopped working') and 'I complaint this' (should be 'I complained about this'). These errors do not impede communication, but they do highlight a lack of precision. To reach a higher band, focus on using collocations more accurately and avoiding repetitive phrasing.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 6.0

You demonstrate a mix of simple and complex sentence structures. While you attempt complex sentences, there are frequent grammatical errors, particularly with verb tenses and articles (e.g., 'I have bought that laptop on August 2nd' should be 'I bought that laptop on August 2nd'; 'it creating various problems' should be 'it is creating'). There are also issues with subject-verb agreement and preposition usage. While these errors are noticeable and occur throughout the text, they rarely prevent the reader from understanding your message. Focusing on basic tense consistency and article usage would significantly improve your accuracy.
