You work at home and have a problem with a piece of equipment that you use for your job.

Write a letter to the shop or company which supplied the equipment. In your letter

• describe the problem with the equipment
• explain how this problem is affecting your work
• say what you want the shop or company to do

Dear sir / madam,

I am writing this letter to complain about the laptop I purchased six months ago is now not working properly. Unfortunately it has suddenly stopped and I can not connect to internet or work from home. I am hoping that you would either replace it or repair it.

I have bought HP laptop model number RP-6547. In the beginning it was working smoothly but now since couple of days it is suddenly hanging up and screen shuts down. I am working from home and I have to do daily tasks and attend meetings . Because of this problem I can not do such things which affects my work performance.

I will be wondering if you could replace the same laptop and repair it . I have laptop invoice, warranty card also. I need to fix this issue immediately because I have some deadlines for my projects and presentations.
