You work at home and have a problem with a piece of equipment that you use for your job.

Write a letter to the shop or company which supplied the equipment. In your letter

• describe the problem with the equipment
• explain how this problem is affecting your work
• say what you want the shop or company to do

Begin your letter as follows:

Dear Sir or Madam,

I am writting to complain about a problem with the laptop that i purchased from your company two month ago. As I work from home, i reply heavily on this equipment to perform my daily duties.

Recently, the laptop has started shutting down unexpectedly, particularly when I am working on large files or attending online meetings. In addition, the battery drains very quickly even when the laptop is fully charged. I have already tried restarting the device and updating its software, but unfortunately, the problem still persists.

The issue is having a singnificant impact on my work. I have missed several important online meetings and have also been unable to complete some tasks on time because the laptop suddenly switches it’s. As a result, my productivity has been considerably reduced.

I would therefore appreciate it if you could arrange for the laptop to be repaired or replaced as soon as pssoible. I would also be grateful if you could provide a temporary replacement while my laptop is being examined.
