You work at home and have a problem with a piece of equipment that you use for your job.

Write a letter to the shop or company which supplied the equipment. In your letter

• describe the problem with the equipment
• explain how this problem is affecting your work
• say what you want the shop or company to do

Dear Sir or Madam,

Student answer (Band 6.0)

I am letter this letter to inform you about the problem with a piece of equipment that is useful for my job and now its not working. The space key in my laptop is not working.

Firstly, the space key which is very useful in writing and now its not working because of that I am having problem submitting my work on time. I have inform this situtation to my manager of Indian company. For example, when I am typing anything in power point then I am not able to put space in between to words.

Secondly, I already booked an appointment with service center for repairing my laptop but they told me that it will take time. Meanwhile, If you can provide me a new laptop that would be great for me and that will help me to start my work again. I can submit my work on time.

I hope you find my letter on time and you can provide me a new laptop so I can start my work again.
