Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 7.0

You have successfully addressed all three bullet points in the prompt. You described the problem with the router, explained the impact on your work as a software developer, and clearly stated your request for a technician. The tone is appropriate for a formal letter. To reach a higher band, ensure that your ideas are fully developed; for instance, you could have specified how long the issue has persisted or provided a reference number for the equipment to make the request more realistic and professional.

Coherence and Cohesion — Band 6.5

The letter follows a logical structure with clear paragraphing. You use some cohesive devices such as 'Moreover' and 'Apart from this' to link your ideas. However, the flow is occasionally hindered by minor errors in sentence structure and punctuation. The transition between the description of the problem and the impact on your work is clear, but the overall progression could be smoother if you used a wider variety of linking words to connect your sentences more naturally.

Lexical Resource — Band 6.0

You have a sufficient range of vocabulary to convey your message clearly, such as 'IT professional' and 'customer service'. However, there are several spelling errors throughout the text, such as 'perfectlly', 'anable', 'collauge', 'woking', and 'dveloper'. These errors are noticeable and detract from the professional tone of the letter. To improve, focus on proofreading your work to catch these common spelling mistakes and try to incorporate more precise vocabulary related to technical support.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.5

You demonstrate an attempt to use complex sentence structures, but there are frequent grammatical errors that affect the accuracy of your writing. Examples include 'The purpose behind to write this latter' (incorrect preposition/infinitive usage), 'I am anable to you my working platform' (missing verb), and 'which enforce me to work' (subject-verb agreement). While the meaning remains clear, the frequency of these errors prevents a higher score. Focus on mastering basic sentence construction and subject-verb agreement to improve your accuracy.
