I always got great service and support from your company. But Yesterday I received an equipment from you which was broken.
Actually when I saw the box, it was little bit broken so I was just nervous about the product. But as I expected, I received a defective piece which I cannot use for my work and I need that product urgent in order to complete my task before Sunday’s midnight. I just have 2 more days and I requesting you to deliver a new product by tomorrow or give me a refund as it was so expensive. I can buy from other local shop.
I hope you will understand my request and will reply to my letter with a response and a solution. Hope to hear good from you.
Yours truly customer

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 6.5
You have addressed all three bullet points required by the task: describing the problem, explaining the impact on your work, and stating the desired action. The tone is generally appropriate for a formal letter, although the opening and closing are slightly informal. The ideas are relevant and clear, though the development could be more professional. For example, instead of saying you were 'nervous', you could describe the condition of the packaging more objectively. Overall, you have fulfilled the requirements of the task effectively.
Coherence and Cohesion — Band 6.0
The letter is logically organized, with a clear progression from the introduction to the problem description and finally the call to action. Paragraphing is used, though the indentation is inconsistent. You use some cohesive devices like 'But' and 'Actually', but these are a bit repetitive and informal. To improve, try using more varied linking words such as 'consequently', 'furthermore', or 'however' to connect your ideas more smoothly. The overall structure is coherent and easy to follow.
Lexical Resource — Band 6.0
You have an adequate range of vocabulary to convey your message clearly. However, there are some inaccuracies in word choice and collocation. For instance, 'I have a lots of trust on your service' should be 'I have a lot of trust in your service'. Additionally, 'I received an equipment' is incorrect as 'equipment' is an uncountable noun; it should be 'a piece of equipment'. Expanding your vocabulary to include more precise business-related terms would help you reach a higher band.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 6.0
You demonstrate a mix of simple and complex sentence structures. There are several grammatical errors, such as 'I need that product urgent' (should be 'urgently') and 'I requesting you' (should be 'I am requesting'). Punctuation is also inconsistent, particularly with the use of commas and spacing. While these errors do not prevent the reader from understanding your meaning, they occur frequently enough to impact the overall fluency of the text. Focusing on subject-verb agreement and adverb usage will help improve your accuracy.
