You work at home and have a problem with a piece of equipment that you use for your job.

Write a letter to the shop or company which supplied the equipment. In your letter

• describe the problem with the equipment
• explain how this problem is affecting your work
• say what you want the shop or company to do

You do NOT need to write any addresses.

Begin your letter as follows:

Dear Sir or Madam,

Dear Sir or Madam,

I am writing this letter to inform you about the issue I am facing while using an equipment purchased from your store. I bought a Microsoft keyboard on 20th June.

Although initially everything was working fine, I am facing these issue from the last 2 days. Some of the keys are non-responsive. Moreover, one leg of the keyboard is broken due to which it is not stable. This has created a formidable situation as I am unable to work efficiently.

My role includes writing myriad emails. Due to non-functional keys I am unable to type specific letters. Currently I am using a virtual keyboard but this has impacted my typing speed significantly. Hence, this will impact my deliverables.

Would you be kind enough to look into this matter? I would like to suggest that you should process an immediate exchange of the keyboard. Additionally, if the exchange is not possible then I would like to request a refund.
