You work at home and have a problem with a piece of equipment that you use for your job.

Write a letter to the shop or company which supplied the equipment. In your letter

• explain how this problem is affecting your work
• say what you want the shop or company to do

Dear Sir or Madam,

I am writing this today to express my concern regarding an urgent matter. I, Evanshi Patel work from home under finance team and my Employee ID is [redacted phone], and there has been a serious issue with my work device which needs to be taken care of immediately.

My work laptop given by company, is suddenly unable to recognise my login details and hence, I cannot continue work. It is not possible for me to also begin work on my personal device as all the data and finance software is not stored in my device. I can deliver the laptop to company's IT department and if the issue takes long to resolve please provide me replacement device as there is a important report required to be submitted by EOD.

I request urgent acknowledgement of this matter, and replacement device sent as soon as possible.
