You work at home and have a problem with a piece of equipment that you use for your job.

Write a letter to the shop or company which supplied the equipment. In your letter

• describe the problem with the equipment
• explain how this problem is affecting your work
• say what you want the shop or company to do

Dear Sir or Madam,

I am writing this letter in order to make a complain about the printer which I recently bought from your website. The order number is 12345 and the model of printer is Picasso Dell.

I received the printer on Wednesday in the evening. I was super excited because I was about to get rid of many printing issues which I was facing with the old printer. Unfortunately, when I opened the package the printer was damaged and it was not in the usable condition.

As I am a house designer, my work is totally from home and I often need to get printouts of the layouts. Due to the lack of a working printers I am getting late to provide the customers with a designed layout for which they have paid already. In addition, I am loaded with customer requests and feeling helpless to continue my work with the help of a good printer.

A replacement would be appreciated because if I opt a refund that might waste more time. I have also read the refund policy and posted the broken printer via Canada post at the adress I got on the website.

I look forward getting a replacement as soon as possible.
