You work at home and have a problem with a piece of equipment that you use for your job.

Write a letter to the shop or company which supplied the equipment. In your letter

• describe the problem with the equipment
• explain how this problem is affecting your work
• say what you want the shop or company to do

You do NOT need to write any addresses.

Begin your letter as follows:

Dear Sir or Madam,

I am writing to express my dissatisfaction with a recent purchase I made at your online store. It was a desktop computer set: a monitor, a keyboard with a mouse, and a central processing unit.

For the first few days the computer worked perfectly and then soon after a week it started having problems. Firstly, the screen is freezing in the middle of the work and sometimes stays frozen for longer periods. Secondly, few keys on the keyboard are getting stuck while typing fast, making it impossible to finish any task.

It has been really frustrating of not being able to complete a single task on time. My work productivity has been criticized at my workplace as I am unable to connect on any online meeting on time and finish the given work timely.

I would like you to replace the damaged computer equipment on urgent basis and bear all the cost of collecting and reshipping the new devices to my address. I request you to take an immediate action on my complaint and try to deliver the shipment on this weekend as I have an important meeting on the following week.
