IELTS Writing Task 1 question

You work at home and have a problem with a piece of equipment that you use for your job.

Write a letter to the shop or company which supplied the equipment. In your letter

• describe the problem with the equipment
• explain how this problem is affecting your work
• say what you want the shop or company to do

You do NOT need to write any addresses.

Begin your letter as follows:

Dear Sir,

I am writing this letter to inform you that I bought a laptop from your shop for the job which I need for doing work from home. I have some problem related to battery.

One of the main issue which I face while using the laptop is battery backup. When I charged the laptop fully afterthat it only runs for 1 hour with the fully charged. This is the issue which I face a lot.

Furthermore, when I have an important meetings related to my work schedule that time I face some problems related to battery in laptop. Moreover, the meetings usually takes longer time. Sometime there is no electricity supply due to some fault.

Thus, I only have isssue related to battery. Kindly please replace the battery or change the laptop which I bought last year from you. It has warranty as well.
