You work at home and have a problem with a piece of equipment that you use for your job.

Write a letter to the shop or company which supplied the equipment. In your letter

• describe the problem with the equipment
• explain how this problem is affecting your work
• say what you want the shop or company to do

Begin your letter as follows:

Dear Sir or Madam,

I am writing to request your assistance regarding my wi-fi modem. I have recently experienced a connection issue, and I hope you will be able to help resolve it.

To explain the situation, The modem keep disconnecting from the internet. Once it happened I have to take off from the plug and re plug it after waiting few minutes. But few hours later the problem will occur again. The issue has happened since last week.

Unfortunately, This has caused considerable inconvenience because I have to work extra hours to finish my intended work for the day. Also it is negatively affect for my reputation. However, I used to deliver on time because of this issue I could not finish my office work on time.

I would therefore appreciate it if you could inspect the unit and provide me a new modem. If this is not possible, I would be grateful if you could suggest an appropriate alternative.

Thank you for your attention to this matter. I look forward to hearing from you and hope that the situation can be resolved promptly.
