You work at home and have a problem with a piece of equipment that you use for your job.

Write a letter to the shop or company which supplied the equipment. In your letter

• describe the problem with the equipment
• explain how this problem is affecting your work
• say what you want the shop or company to do

Dear Sir/Madam,

I am writing this letter to report a problem I am having with the monitor. This monitor was provided from your electronic department last month.

Their is a vertical blue line on the right side of the display. It started when I was working with Excel document and all of a sudden their was a blue line on the display. At the beginning, the line was very thin but it started to spread all over the the screen.

I need a monitor to complete my daily Excel documents cleaning task. I am not even able to see the file and read it clearly. This issue with my monitor is why my last week performance was very not up to the mark.

I would like to replace my monitor and I would prefer the same model. I can deliver this monitor to your service center address and I hope that I get a replacement as soon as possible.
