Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.5

You address the main situation and make your request clear: the equipment needs high voltage, is difficult to operate without several people, and creates safety concerns around your children. You also explain that it is affecting your assigned daily tasks and ask for manual work instead. However, the problem is not described precisely—for example, it is unclear whether the equipment is faulty or simply unsuitable for your home—and the request is directed partly toward receiving different tasks rather than asking the supplier to repair, replace, or advise on the equipment. Developing these points and making a specific request to the company would make the letter more complete.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 4.5

The reader can identify the general sequence of complaint, impact, and request, and phrases such as “Also” and “otherwise” attempt to connect ideas. However, the letter is presented as one block, so its purpose and progression are not clearly signposted. Several ideas are crowded together, and “I work from home” is repeated without adding new information. The connection between the equipment’s power needs, the number of people required, and the safety concern could also be made clearer. Use separate paragraphs for the problem, its effect on your work, and the action you want, with more precise links between each point.

Lexical Resource: Band 5.0

You use some vocabulary relevant to the situation, including “high voltage,” “safety measures,” “daily tasks,” and “manual.” This gives the reader a basic understanding of your concerns. However, the range is limited and several phrases are unnatural or imprecise, such as “giving me a lot difficulty,” “make it to the usage,” and “make this matter considering.” These choices sometimes make the intended meaning harder to follow. Aim for more natural complaint-letter language and precise terms for the equipment problem and requested solution. Check spelling and word forms as well: “loose” is used where “lose” is intended.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0

You attempt a few longer sentence forms, including the sentence beginning “I am working from home” and the final sentence with “otherwise,” but control is inconsistent. Errors occur in basic verb forms and sentence construction: “It is hereby states” should use a correct passive form, while “this equipment required” needs an appropriate verb form. There are also problems with articles and number, as in “three or four people help,” and the sentence beginning “Also, mention that” is not a complete, well-formed sentence. These errors sometimes make the reader pause. Practise accurate simple sentences first, then combine related ideas using controlled clauses and correct punctuation.
