Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 6.5

You address all three required points: you identify the keyboard’s faulty keys, explain that this slows your work and affects productivity, and request an exchange or refund. The purpose is clear, and the formal opening and closing suit a complaint letter. The explanation of the work impact is relevant, especially the need to ask your superior for more time, but some details are unclear—for example, “It leads to represent adverts impact on professional personality” does not clearly explain the consequence. The requested remedy is also somewhat indirect. To strengthen the response further, describe the fault more precisely and state plainly whether you prefer a replacement or a refund, while developing the effect on your work in clear, specific terms.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 6.0

The letter has a coherent overall arrangement: the opening states the purpose, the next paragraph describes the purchase and fault, the following paragraph explains the impact, and the final paragraph requests action. This paragraphing helps the reader follow the main stages. However, some links between ideas are mechanical or unclear. For instance, “At that time” does not clearly connect the purchase to when the keys stopped working, and “Otherwise” introduces the refund option without making the relationship between the two remedies fully clear. The sentence about professional personality also interrupts the progression because its meaning is difficult to follow. Use straightforward transitions and ensure each sentence develops the point in the paragraph.

Lexical Resource: Band 5.0

You attempt a range of formal and work-related vocabulary, including “professional,” “employment obligations,” “productivity,” and “remedy.” However, several choices or combinations are inaccurate enough to make the message difficult to interpret, such as “professional prospective,” “alphabetics keys,” “represent adverts impact,” and “convinience arrangement.” Some phrases also sound unnatural in a complaint letter, including “generate exchange request” and “hear something from your side.” Choose familiar, precise expressions rather than reaching for formal-sounding wording: for example, say that several keys “do not work properly” and that this “slows down my work.” Careful spelling and natural collocations would make your meaning clearer and more professional.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0

You use both simple statements and attempts at longer structures, such as “I required to press certaine keys to longer time duration, which impacts on work fluency.” The reader can generally identify the main message, but errors in sentence construction and grammatical forms occur across the letter and sometimes obscure relationships between ideas. For example, “I am writing to complaint you” needs a different verb pattern, while “I required to press” and “I look forward to hear” use incorrect verb forms. Articles and punctuation also need attention, as in “one Samsung keyboard” and the spacing around commas in “it,if.” Practise accurate verb patterns and build longer sentences from clear, correct clauses before adding complexity.
