Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 6.0
You cover all three required points: you report that the laptop shuts down when opening files or email, explain that glitches prevent you completing daily tasks and affect urgent communications, and request repair or replacement. The practical detail about using a spare laptop and being able to bring the faulty one in next Tuesday also helps the reader understand the situation. However, the requested action is not stated as a clear, direct request, and the effect on your own work could be explained more precisely; the reference to the workforce doing extra duties is less clearly connected to your individual problem. Use a formal opening and closing, and explicitly ask the company to inspect, repair, or replace the laptop.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 6.0
The letter has a generally understandable sequence: it introduces the equipment problem, describes its impact, and then explains your temporary arrangement and availability to bring it in. Paragraphing supports these stages, and connectors such as “Moreover” and “However” help signal development. Some links are less effective or unclear, though. “As you know” does not establish what the recipient knows, while “on a side note” makes the upcoming visit sound incidental even though it is relevant to resolving the issue. The long sentence beginning “As you know” also combines several work activities without clear separation. Group related information more tightly and use transitions that show the relationship between the problem, its consequences, and your request.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.0
You use some relevant workplace and technology vocabulary, including “bugs,” “virus issues,” “glitch,” “urgent email,” and “Zoom call meetings,” so the reader can identify the general problem and its impact. However, spelling errors and imprecise or unnatural combinations are noticeable, including “equitment,” “automatlicy,” “progarm,” and “damage equipment.” Phrases such as “workforce has to do double then there assigned duties” are difficult to interpret, and “offline in person work” is not a natural way to describe the upcoming visit. Choose precise terms such as “the laptop shuts down unexpectedly,” “repair or replacement,” and “additional duties,” and proofread spelling carefully to make your meaning consistently clear.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
You attempt both simple and more extended sentence forms, for example, explaining the shutdown and then describing its consequences. The main message is usually recoverable, but some grammatical errors make parts difficult to follow. Examples include “i am reach out to you,” “The have be some bugs,” and “when every i try,” where verb forms and sentence construction are faulty. There are also problems with agreement and sentence boundaries, as in “some glitch kept happening and due to that i was unable to fulfill my task of the day. which kept pileing up.” Capitalisation and punctuation are inconsistent, including lowercase “i” and the comma after “Josh.” Practise accurate present and past forms, and divide long or joined ideas into complete sentences.
