Yours sincerely,

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 7.0

The letter addresses all three required points: it identifies the laptop’s intermittent failure and slow processing, explains that you cannot save official data or install software, and requests a replacement or inspection. The purpose is clear from the opening, and the request for a functional laptop gives the complaint a practical focus. To make the response more fully developed, provide a little more specific information about the fault—for example, when the laptop stops working or what happens when you try to save a file—and state which remedy you prefer. The current request, “replacement or proper check,” leaves the company uncertain about your first choice. Overall, the relevant ideas are clear and supported, though some details remain general.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 7.0

The information follows a clear sequence: you introduce the purchase and fault, describe the effect on your work, and then make a request. Paragraphing helps distinguish these stages, and linking expressions such as “Moreover” and “In the context of above mentioned problems” signal relationships between ideas. The progression is easy to follow throughout. However, some transitions feel formulaic, and “Nevertheless” does not express a clear contrast between the laptop’s multiple uses and its technical issues. The final paragraph also combines the remedy, urgency, and closing appeal without much development. Use simpler, more precise links and connect each consequence directly to the problem to make cohesion more natural and flexible.

Lexical Resource: Band 5.5

You use vocabulary relevant to a formal complaint, including “technical issues,” “official data,” “replacement,” and “functional laptop,” so the reader can understand the situation. There is some attempt at more formal phrasing, but several choices are inaccurate or unnatural: “creating a trouble,” “These above mentioned problems,” and “proper check” do not sound idiomatic in this context. Spelling and word-form errors in “effeciency” and “effecting” also reduce precision. Aim for natural collocations and concise wording rather than formal-sounding phrases. For example, describe the laptop as “freezing” or “running slowly,” and say that the problems are “affecting my work efficiency.” This would make the complaint clearer and more professional.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 6.0

The letter includes a mix of simple and more developed sentence forms, and most of the message remains understandable. For instance, “I am unable to save my official data in it” is a clear independent sentence, while “I am writing to inform you about the problem…” introduces the purpose effectively. Some grammatical errors remain. In “sometimes it stop working,” the verb should agree with the singular subject (“it stops”); “I request for its replacement” uses an incorrect verb pattern (“I request a replacement”); and “I can not” is conventionally written as “cannot.” There are also punctuation and spacing slips, such as the space before the comma in “working ,”. Check subject–verb agreement, verb patterns, and punctuation during revision.
