Tourists all over the world like to explore and travel different destinations that are challenging. Nowadays, many individuals are visiting areas where harsh conditions pervail, such as Sahara desert or the Antarctic. This essay will discuss both the advantages and disadvantages of travelling to difficult areas.
One major advantage is that people become fearless as they have the audacity to visit such places that give them the peace of mind and internal satisfaction. It is a famous saying that "Difficult roads lead to beautiful destinations". For instance, some youngsters go on road trips on the motorbikes to Leh Ladakh to experience the beauty of the place and to get exposure.
Another benefit is that travelling helps an individual to have physical and mental well being. A person lives their life with adventure, boldness and exuberance by keeping oneself physically fit and mentally strong with discipline.
However, there are some disadvantages to consider.
A significant drawback is that people put their life on risk as they face many problems while visiting these difficult destinations.
Additionally, sometimes health of the individuals are affected as they travel these places. To illustrate, people who go to places with big mountains at high altitudes experience the decrease in oxygen levels because of which their health deteriorates and they come in trouble.
In conclusion, there are pros and cons of visiting places with difficult conditions. If a person wants to have a gratifying experience then they have to meticulously take the decision of travelling to these places or not as it is the question of their life.

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 6.5
The essay addresses both the benefits and disadvantages of visiting challenging locations. The ideas are relevant, such as personal growth and physical risks. However, the development is somewhat limited; for instance, the point about 'physical and mental well-being' is stated but lacks specific explanation or a concrete example. The conclusion is a bit brief and does not fully synthesize the arguments presented. To reach a higher band, you should aim to expand on your points with more detailed reasoning and ensure that the connection between the examples and the main arguments is more explicit.
Coherence and Cohesion — Band 7.0
The essay is organized into clear paragraphs, each with a distinct focus. There is a logical progression of ideas from the introduction to the body paragraphs and the conclusion. Cohesive devices are used, such as 'One major advantage', 'Another benefit', and 'However', which help guide the reader. However, some transitions feel a bit mechanical, and the referencing could be smoother. For example, the transition between the benefits and the drawbacks is functional but could be more sophisticated. Overall, the paragraphing is appropriate and the structure is easy to follow.
Lexical Resource — Band 6.5
You demonstrate an adequate range of vocabulary for the task, using terms like 'audacity', 'exuberance', and 'meticulously'. There are some minor errors in word choice and collocation, such as 'put their life on risk' (should be 'at risk') and 'come in trouble' (should be 'get into trouble'). Additionally, there is a spelling error in the introduction ('pervail' instead of 'prevail'). While the vocabulary is sufficient to convey your meaning clearly, it lacks the precision and flexibility required for higher bands. Focusing on more natural collocations will improve your score.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 6.5
The essay uses a mix of simple and complex sentence structures. While many sentences are clear, there are several grammatical inaccuracies. For example, 'sometimes health of the individuals are affected' should be 'the health of individuals is affected', and 'go on road trips on the motorbikes' is slightly unnatural. There are also issues with article usage and subject-verb agreement. While these errors do not impede communication, they occur frequently enough to prevent a higher score. You should focus on proofreading for basic subject-verb agreement and article usage to improve your accuracy.
