Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 6.5

The response addresses both the benefits and disadvantages of visiting extreme locations. The ideas are relevant, such as the thrill of exploration and the risks of isolation or lack of resources. However, the development of these points is somewhat superficial. For example, the mention of 'undiscovered places' and 'creatures' is a bit vague and could have been supported with more specific examples or deeper analysis. The position is clear, and the conclusion summarizes the main points effectively. To reach a higher band, ensure that each point is fully extended with more detailed explanations or concrete examples rather than just listing them.

Coherence and Cohesion — Band 6.5

The essay is organized into logical paragraphs, with a clear introduction, body paragraphs for benefits and drawbacks, and a conclusion. Cohesive devices such as 'Moreover', 'Additionally', 'However', and 'Furthermore' are used to link ideas. However, some transitions feel slightly mechanical, and there are instances where the flow is interrupted by grammatical errors, such as in the sentence 'Most of these places does not have internet or any other medias for communicate.' While the overall progression is logical, the internal cohesion within sentences could be improved to make the writing feel more natural and fluid.

Lexical Resource — Band 6.5

The vocabulary is generally adequate for the task, allowing the writer to convey their meaning clearly. There are some attempts at less common vocabulary, such as 'undiscovered', 'extreme weather conditions', and 'adventurous'. However, there are several word-choice and collocation errors, such as 'medias for communicate' (should be 'media for communication') and 'must equipped' (should be 'must be equipped'). These errors do not impede communication but indicate a need for more precise control over word forms and collocations to reach a higher band.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 6.0

The essay uses a mix of simple and complex sentence structures. While the writer attempts complex sentences, there are frequent grammatical errors throughout the text. Examples include subject-verb agreement issues ('Most of these places does not have'), incorrect verb forms ('creatures that existing there'), and missing auxiliary verbs ('must equipped'). Punctuation is generally acceptable, but the frequency of these grammatical slips is noticeable. To improve, focus on ensuring subject-verb agreement and correct verb tense usage, as these errors occur frequently enough to impact the overall accuracy of the writing.
