Student answer (Band 6.5)
In recent years, majority of the travelers are going on the locations like the Sahara desert or the Antarctic, where situation is not in good conditions. While this trend offers certain advantages in terms of camping and explore the locations, it also brings notable drawbacks that should not be overlooked.
One of the main advantage of going on challenging location is camping. Visitors who mainly take this challenge to record the videos and publish them on social media accounts. This is especially beneficial for people who love to do blogging as on live telecast they can showcase their bravery that how to spend the time on challenging locations and also can earn good amount of views and likes through this. Furthermore, sightseer can enjoy their quality time with their family. To cite an example, mostly boys are going with their friends on these suck kind of locations for off roading as they feel pleasure in it.
However, despite the benefits, there are also certain disadvantages. A significant drawback is no one is available for help if anything happened unfortunately such as any kind of injury or attack by wild animals. This sometimes lead to a lot of problematic for the available individuals. Additionally, hard to survive on the bad weather conditions due to this visitors can be suffer more as they have not expected.
In conclusion, travelling more on toughest locations allows people to do the camping and explore the variety of locations but it also carries the risk of unexpected things, injuries, wildlife animals attack and bad weather suffering. In my view, toughest locations are becoming more popular as people are taking risks but government also need to provide the necessary type of things for people to enjoy their time.

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 6.5
The response addresses both the benefits and disadvantages of visiting extreme locations. However, the development of ideas is somewhat limited. For instance, the benefit of 'camping' is linked to social media and blogging, which is a relevant point, but the explanation is repetitive and lacks depth. The disadvantages are mentioned, such as safety and weather, but the arguments are not fully extended with specific examples or logical progression. The position is clear, but the overall development of the response is basic, and some points, such as the mention of 'boys' going off-roading, are anecdotal and lack a broader context to support the argument effectively.
Coherence and Cohesion — Band 6.5
The essay is organized into logical paragraphs, with an introduction, two body paragraphs, and a conclusion. Cohesive devices are used, such as 'Furthermore', 'However', and 'In conclusion', but they are sometimes used mechanically or incorrectly (e.g., 'To cite an example, mostly boys...'). The progression of ideas is generally clear, but the flow between sentences is occasionally hindered by awkward phrasing. Referencing is sometimes unclear, and the transition between the benefits and the drawbacks could be smoother. Paragraphing is present, but the internal structure of the paragraphs could be more cohesive.
Lexical Resource — Band 6.0
The vocabulary is adequate for the task but lacks precision and variety. There are several instances of awkward collocations and word choice errors, such as 'going on the locations', 'not in good conditions', and 'suck kind of locations'. The student relies on basic vocabulary and struggles to use more sophisticated or academic terms. Some phrases are repetitive, and the misuse of words like 'problematic' (used as a noun) and 'sightseer' (used in a singular sense where plural is expected) indicates a limited range of lexical control, which occasionally impedes the clarity of the message.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 6.0
The essay contains a mix of simple and complex sentence structures, but there are frequent grammatical errors throughout. Common issues include incorrect article usage (e.g., 'the Sahara desert'), subject-verb agreement (e.g., 'majority of the travelers are going'), and awkward sentence construction (e.g., 'how to spend the time on challenging locations'). Punctuation is generally functional, but the frequency of errors in basic grammar—such as 'visitors can be suffer'—is noticeable. While the meaning is usually conveyed, the high frequency of errors prevents the writing from reaching a higher band score.
