Nowadays people are visiting extreme location like, Sahara desert and the Antarctic as a vacation place. I have discussed possible advantages and disadvantages attached to it in the following paragraph.

One of the main advantage is to get experience the extreme condition of natural habitat on hand. People wants to see the place which provide thrill and by visit these location help them experience the different side of the world. For instance, they get to experience the wildlife in their natural habitat in the Antarctic and the Sahara desert to see their culture and way of living. Furthermore, tourist fun will provide the growth in the economy. As many people visit the extreme places it will help locals to earn living.

On the other side, it creates hazardous impact on the environment. To simplify, people travel to a long distance to visit those places which means more gas emission and this will ultimately affect the nature. Additionally, in those extreme location major health issues can happen. A person with heart disease, lung issues and other health condition cannot survive on such places so it becomes a risk for individuals. Because of that it is not advanced for elder people to take a chance and travel to difficult places.

In conclusion, visit to the places like Sahara desert and Antarctic is once in a life time opportunity and has advantages such as, it provide opportunity to experience wildlife up close and help in the economic growth. It also has disadvantages like increase co2 emission and change the health condition.

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 6.5

The response addresses both the benefits and disadvantages of visiting extreme locations. The ideas are relevant, such as economic growth for locals and environmental concerns. However, the development of these points is somewhat limited. For example, the mention of 'culture and way of living' in the Sahara is a bit vague and could be better supported with specific examples. The position is clear throughout, and the conclusion summarizes the main points effectively. To reach a higher band, ensure that each argument is fully extended with more detailed explanations or concrete examples rather than just stating the point.

Coherence and Cohesion — Band 7.0

The essay is organized into clear paragraphs, each with a distinct focus. There is a logical progression of ideas from the introduction to the body paragraphs and the conclusion. Cohesive devices are used, such as 'One of the main advantage', 'Furthermore', and 'On the other side'. However, some of these transitions are slightly mechanical or grammatically awkward. Referencing is generally clear, though the flow between sentences could be improved to make the connections feel more natural. Overall, the structure is coherent and easy to follow.

Lexical Resource — Band 6.5

The vocabulary is adequate for the task, allowing the writer to convey their ideas clearly. There are some attempts at less common vocabulary, such as 'hazardous impact' and 'natural habitat'. However, there are several instances of word-choice errors and awkward phrasing, such as 'extreme location' (should be plural), 'tourist fun' (unnatural collocation), and 'it is not advanced' (incorrect word choice for 'advisable'). While these errors do not impede communication, they limit the range and precision of the language used.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 6.0

The essay uses a mix of simple and complex sentence structures. There are frequent grammatical errors, particularly with subject-verb agreement ('One of the main advantage is', 'it provide opportunity') and pluralization ('extreme location', 'such places'). Punctuation is generally functional, but there are minor errors in comma usage. While the meaning is always clear, the frequency of these errors prevents the essay from reaching a higher band. Focusing on proofreading for basic agreement and article usage would significantly improve the accuracy of the writing.
