One main benefit is that tourists can get a new and exciting experience. These places are very different from normal tourist places. People can see beautiful natural views and learn more about nature. For example, in the Sahara Desert, tourists can see large sand dunes and experience desert life.
there are also some disadvantages. The problem is that these places can be dangerous for tourists. In the Sahara desert, the temperature can be extremely hot, while Antarctica is extremely cold. Tourists can become sick or face accidents because of these conditions. and also it very expensive to travel there.

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 5.0
The response addresses both the benefits and disadvantages of visiting extreme locations, but the development is insufficient. The ideas are presented in a very basic manner, lacking the depth and supporting detail required for a higher band. Furthermore, the response is significantly under the 250-word minimum requirement, which severely limits the ability to fully develop the arguments. The conclusion is repetitive and does not add new insight. To improve, you must expand on your points with more specific examples and detailed explanations to meet the length requirement and provide a more comprehensive answer.
Coherence and Cohesion — Band 5.5
The essay is organised into paragraphs, which is a positive step. However, the use of cohesive devices is very limited and often mechanical. For example, the transition between ideas is abrupt, and there is a lack of variety in linking words. Some sentences are disjointed, such as 'and also it very expensive to travel there', which lacks a proper subject and connection to the previous point. To improve, you should use a wider range of linking words and phrases (e.g., 'furthermore', 'consequently', 'on the other hand') to create a smoother flow between your ideas.
Lexical Resource — Band 5.0
The vocabulary used is basic and repetitive. You frequently use simple phrases like 'this kind of places' and 'good experience'. There is little attempt to use less common or more precise vocabulary related to the topic of tourism or extreme environments. Spelling errors, such as 'now days' (nowadays) and 'vary much' (very much), also detract from the quality of the writing. To achieve a higher score, you need to expand your range of vocabulary and focus on using words that are more specific to the context of the essay.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.0
The essay relies heavily on simple sentence structures. There are frequent grammatical errors throughout the text, including missing articles ('in Sahara desert'), subject-verb agreement issues ('there are benefit'), and incorrect word forms ('talk care of them self'). Punctuation is also inconsistent, with several sentences starting with lowercase letters. While the meaning is generally clear, these persistent errors and the lack of complex sentence structures limit the score. You should focus on mastering basic sentence construction and proofreading for common errors like articles and verb forms.
