Nowadays travel is become a new fashion for people and numbers of people even prefer to travel in challanging area such as the Sahara desert or the Antarctic. It has many positives and negatives.. I will explain both the merits and demerits in the ensuing paragraphs.
To start with advantages, by visiting these places, people can explore new area for tourism and travel. Mostly, people visit renowed and popular places but after find out unique places they prefer to go there and explore it. For instance, the Sahara desert. Secondly, people can get their self time. As in these areas, few people are coming for visit so people can explore places on thier pace. Also, less people makes less pollution and less traffic congestion.Thirdly, they want to challange themselves to visit unknown and different places.
However, I should not overlook the other side too. There are few demerits too. To begin with, there are no chances of emergency help or treatment. Also, the Antarctic and at the Sahara desert are located far away fom the cities, so people generally not able to find any care. Moreover, visiting desert they have to go through certain challanges as there are no sources of food, water and basic amenities. Due to this, sometimes people have to suffer without it.

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 6.0
The response addresses both the benefits and disadvantages of visiting extreme environments. However, the development of these ideas is somewhat superficial. For example, while you mention 'self time' and 'less pollution' as benefits, these points are not fully extended or supported with specific examples or logical depth. Similarly, the disadvantages regarding emergency care are mentioned but could be strengthened by discussing the logistical or financial implications. The position is clear, but the overall response lacks the depth required for a higher band score, as the arguments remain at a general level throughout the essay.
Coherence and Cohesion — Band 6.0
The essay is organized into clear paragraphs, which helps the reader follow the structure. You use basic cohesive devices such as 'To start with', 'Secondly', 'However', and 'To conclude' to signal transitions. However, the use of these devices is sometimes mechanical, and there are instances where the flow between sentences is slightly disjointed. For example, the transition between the benefits of exploring new areas and the benefit of 'self time' feels abrupt. Referencing is generally clear, but the overall progression of ideas could be more sophisticated to achieve a higher band.
Lexical Resource — Band 5.5
The vocabulary is adequate for the task but lacks variety and precision. You use some relevant terms like 'tourism', 'traffic congestion', and 'amenities', but there are recurring errors in word choice and spelling, such as 'challanging' (challenging), 'renowed' (renowned), and 'thier' (their). Additionally, phrases like 'get their self time' are non-standard and sound unnatural. To improve, focus on using more precise collocations and ensuring correct spelling of common academic vocabulary. The range is sufficient to communicate your meaning, but it does not demonstrate the flexibility required for higher bands.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.5
The essay contains a mix of simple and complex sentence structures, but there are frequent grammatical errors that occasionally distract the reader. Examples include 'travel is become a new fashion', 'people generally not able to find', and 'they have to passes through'. Subject-verb agreement and verb tense consistency are areas that need significant attention. While the meaning is generally clear, the frequency of these errors prevents the essay from reaching a higher band. Focusing on basic sentence construction and proofreading for tense consistency would be highly beneficial.
