Student answer (Band 5.5)
In the modren era, unparalalled significance of visting most of the harsh places on planet is getting unexpedtly more attention for example Sahara desert & Antarctic. Some individuals, tend to beleive that there are numerous benefits of visiting these places while others argue that it has negtive consequences becuse such type of places are not suitable for humans.I largely agree visiting those places has substantial benefits but it would invite live threatning adventours as well.
Supporters of deserts & some of the coldest places on earth beleive that going there will enhace the experience and also give them numerous knowledge of aera.It could act as enhancing the mentorship and motivation of individuals to deal with challenging stuitions. Most important it will provide plenty of information about the inhabatants living in vast spaces and living habits. For example in Sahara desert world longest train carries people's & their daily usage products from one place to the end. This has a huge significance amoung them and aslo a source of daily living. On the other hand the Antrarctic is consider worild's most coldest region with no humans becauce this aera weather is very powerfull strong winds which can through the camps & bulidings from roots & from this nature the researchers are tend to go there to study and it enchances social interction.
However, on the other hand critics argue that online media has create a fake narrative which is going popular over the years about these areas.Today many persons developes a competition which lead to act as hyper competitivenss amoung them to go & visit these harsh places and revell more about these places. But this is many enormous disadvantages for expampe a case study published by the universty of london shows a group of freinds were lost in the desert and after 72 hours all found dead in desert only 2 km from station. In Antractic weather is below sixty degree it could forst bite your face and figures in seconds when it is direclty in contact.
In conclusion, I tend to belive these aeras provide mignificant amount of deep knowlege to reserachers on who to improve the things but also I could lead threating events on those who do not have any experiece of this types of palces before.

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 6.0
The response addresses all parts of the prompt by discussing both the benefits and disadvantages of visiting harsh tourist destinations like the Sahara Desert and the Antarctic. A clear position is stated in the introduction, where the writer expresses agreement with the benefits while acknowledging life-threatening adventures. Ideas are generally relevant, such as gaining deep knowledge and experiencing extreme weather, but some explanations lack sufficient development and clarity. For instance, the discussion of the longest train in the Sahara feels somewhat disconnected from the main point of tourism benefits. Nevertheless, the main requirements of the task are met with a relevant exploration of the prompt's themes.
Coherence and Cohesion — Band 5.5
The essay is divided into four distinct paragraphs, including an introduction, two body paragraphs, and a conclusion, showing an attempt at overall organization. However, the logical progression is frequently hindered by mechanical cohesive devices and awkward transitions, such as repeating 'on the other hand' in close succession. Referencing is sometimes unclear, particularly with ambiguous pronouns like 'this' or 'it' referring back to broad ideas. Paragraphing is present, but the internal flow of ideas lacks seamless cohesion, which affects readability.
Lexical Resource — Band 5.0
The vocabulary used is adequate for the task, with attempts to incorporate less common items such as 'unparallelled significance', 'hyper-competitiveness', and 'case study'. However, the response is heavily impacted by frequent spelling and word choice errors, including 'modren', 'unexpedtly', 'beleive', 'negtive', 'threatning', 'enhace', and 'aera'. These inaccuracies occasionally strain the reader and reflect a limited control over spelling and word formation, preventing the score from reaching a higher band.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.0
The writer attempts a mix of simple and complex sentence forms, demonstrating some variety in structure. However, grammatical accuracy is weak throughout the text, with frequent errors in subject-verb agreement, articles, and prepositions. Examples include 'visiting those places has substantial benefits', 'weather is very powerfull strong winds which can through', and 'In Antractic weather is below sixty degree it could forst bite'. Punctuation errors, such as missing spaces after commas and periods, are also prevalent. These errors frequently cause difficulty for the reader.
